Just got back into Nocturne and im going for the True Demon Ending...

Just got back into Nocturne and im going for the True Demon Ending. What demons did you guys use for the lucifer fight and why?
Also, general SMT discussion because the series is great.

How does nocturne emulate? Looking to get into it again after beating P5

Works great, just the shadows are a little wonky.

It runs perfectly fine on Pcsx2 with a relatively decent, modern PC. The worst yoyll get are maybe shadow issues but the framerate is good.

I used Metatron, Titania and some other demon, can't remember which one. I used those because they're great support demons, they never dealt any damage to Lucy but that's what a Demi-fiend with Pierce, Focus and Freikugel is there for.

Dante - Rebellion for extra damage
Daisoujou - Prayer, Debilitate, and Rakukaja
Nyx - Prayer, Debilitate, and Tarukaja

I picked these demons because they required no grinding and were more than sufficient to defeat Lucifier

Or, you could also use Might and Spiral Viper the fucker and bank on the Crits for extra press turns.
Im planning on using Pixie, Shiva and Vishnu for max damage output.

I feel Dante is underpowered for that fight simply because of pierce though. If anything he is great support

I used Daisoujou, Wu Kong, and Pixie.
Daisoujou was there for debuffs and healing, Wu Kong for buffs, and Pixie because why not.

If I remember correctly it was Daijoubou for heals and buffs metatron for debilitate and extra damage and Odin with diabiliate and buffs

Nocturne has weird motion blur, but you'll get that whether you emulate or not.

It's all daijoubou if you use Daisoujou/

I mean it's cool and all but it doesn't allow much diversity. Pierce is pretty much mandatory.

Daijoubou is life.

If you have time and willpower then any demon is a Lucifer Fight demon. Mitama, the elements, sacrificial fusion, all those things allow you to not only put pierce on a demon, but make them viable too.

I did transfer pierce to all my demons but that's only because I was fast forwarding on pcsx2, I can't imagine grinding for it on an actual PS2.

Vishnu for heals w/prayer
Metatron because people says hes good.(Spoiler) He aint
Beelzebub because people say hes good too. Again hes not great other than his mob kill all and victory cry skill that dont even work on bosses

As long as you have 3 Demons with focus and pierce and one has a great heal all spell you will be fine just focus and friekugel. Hell just re-fuse daisojou with debilitate focus and pierce and you got a Lucifer killer thats with ya the whole game

this is good though they're wasting their turns and so you can just pummel them to death

Its tough initially because of how certain things work like how healing aint free, grinding wont work 90% of the time, etc.

That music and Matador made me shit myself when I played Nocturne.
I fucking hated that boss and I fucking hated how the game would just rape you when it wanted.
But it did finally teach me how to really play SMT and Person since I was just a Persona bitch.
Persona is a fucking cakewalk after Nocturne.

I think my end game party was Metatron, Shiva, and Beelzebub. All of them also had Pierce.
