Do you think Alola forms were a good addition?

Do you think Alola forms were a good addition?

Evolves into this

They did nothing that an evo couldn't fix.
Maybe with alolan Muk and Marowak was the right call

No, they're gay, they look gay, and they're just gay in general.

Needed more variety

Good concept
But I'd rather have more original pokemon per generation.

Yes
It makes it so that you can have something new that still is part of the old. Also made it so that Crabominable wasn't the only Ice type there.
Wish they'd do it for other gens though aside from 1.

The whole game was a bad idea.

Absolutely not. How the fuck are they gonna cram them in future games? Are newer regions also gonna have their regional variants?

Not much of a pokemon player, so I can't tell you if they are good from an ingame standpoint, but it's nice to see new official takes on old pokemon.

This little fucker is absolutely adorable

A-Marowak and A-Ninetales are both pretty decent.

>Alola Marowak brought my boy Marowak up to OU in order to keep the Tapus and UBs in check

I'm down with them. I wish there was more though, in all honesty. And kind of worry that the alternate version of old Pokemon idea will be a one time thing going forward.

You post Pokeshit there newfag

I really like Alolan Raichu. Will I be able get him and the original Raichu in-game in future titles, though?

Fab-you-los meowth is fucking magic

But they removed the stage show minigame so fuck goy freak

>only gen 1 pokemon got Alolan forms

Fucking gamefreak

...

Yes, though the majority of the Alola forms are just flat out better than the old.
Also, they needed way more of them, especially from other regions beyond Kanto.

Better than mega evolution

This thread, its existence and perpetuation, is an example of why the very idea of a containment thread/board is flawed.

Alolan Grimer and Muk are my niggas. Alolan Marowak is great. And Alolan Vulpix is cute as fuck.

Hot, I have a thing for rich girls.
I have a thing for anthro cats as well.

it's a boy

>girl

They were, but limiting them to Gen 1 Pokémon only was a terrible idea. Hopefully they'll remove this unnecessary limitation in the next game when designing more regional forms.

eh, I still would.

Why can't they just stop adding pokemons and focus on the gameplay part of the game ??? We have enough pokemon now, it's time to make a really good game out of them.

those things can actually fly??

what episode is this from?

Fun fact: Pokemon is a video game
Please show me the rule stating pokemon can ONLY be discussed on /vp/, like the one for /mlp/
