Super Mario Galaxy is not a 3D game

>ds2 was a bad game

>Dude Graphics Matter
No they That's way Crysis was a bore fest because it added nothing to the table not in 1 not in 2, and not even 3. If the game isn't fun then it isn't good regardless on how it looks same with Far cry 3.
That's why games like Furi, Nuclear Throne, Risk of Rain, or Enter the Gungoun blew that shit out the water

>DLC and Season Passes are a good thing though!

>MGS4 isn't a bad game

>Star Fox Adventures was a good game

Man, that assassination keeps delivering some good memes.

>MGSV has the best gameplay in the series

>MGSV has the best gameplay in the series
Holy fuck this. I don't give a shit which game someone thinks did it best in the series, I personally prefer MGS3 and think it had the best gameplay, but MGSV was undeniably mediocre at best and does not deserve that praise.

>Planescape torment is bad because the combat is mediocre

Probably not fully mad and more annoyed but
>It's comfy!

Acts 1 and 2 that's absolutly true though.

>I personally prefer MGS3 and think it had the best gameplay
Oh yeah, I really liked that injury system, the camo system, the blow up food and ammo for an area I'm going to be in for 30 more seconds system, the food system you either almost never use because you beat the game in 2 sittings or because you take weeks and everything's rotten when you hop back on.
Not saying MGS3 isn't good, but it has many flaws in its design and this "Unfinished" meme people spout about MGSV can be applied to literally any game that ever cut anything from the concept stage.

It isn't. The fact people cry about politics in vidya is proof enough that they aren't

>PC gaming is currently better than console gaming

>game made in japan = weebshit

>Ghostbusters.
GG no re "vidya isn't art but this old hag pissing on a canvas is" faggot.

Ghostbusters was hated because they ruined ghostbusters and it was a shit movie, not because of your identity politics war.. Vidya isn't art because all vidya is expected to be a consumer product that appeals to as many people as possible, even indie games. The few artsy games that ddo exist are universally panned and hated and called "not games". Film can be art because you can indeed make controversial films with political themes without many, if anyone crying that it should not exist. Michael Moore can make his libtarddocumentaries, people accept that. Some retard can make his "HILLARY'S AMERICA" film and that's accepted as art. I can make an album and fill it with songs that have heavy political themes, and this is acceptable and even normal. Musicians express these things in their art all the time. A painter can put in political symbolism in his painting and that isn't decried by millions of people, hell it's seen as "thought provoking". A developer makes a model in game that references Trump and Sup Forums has a mental breakdown. Art, Music, film can all exist as artistic pieces and accepted, they exist alongside consumer versions. Vidya is accepted to solely be a consumer product.

>MGO2 is dead

What a lazy troll post.

>story heavy games are good

Go back to Sup Forums if you want to watch a movie.

>X game is bad because it was made in japan (weebshit).
If I'm even comprehending it correctly.
>Dark souls 1/3 is an amazing game but 2 is bad.

>Etrian Odyssey 1 is a bad game
Really fires my missiles. Bonus points when it comes from an Untold baby.

I was disappointed by 2 personally, but that's because i wanted DS1: pt2, which I got with DS3. I think a lot of people that say DS2 is bad feel the same way and bitch about mechanics and such to have something they can actually argue.

>Final Fantasy XIII is a good game

I can see that. I don't fault people for wanting more of the same thing but people really like treating 2 like irredeemable garbage.

Yeah, although I think a lot of it is hyperbole. AAt least DS2 had fucking poise. I can't believe they did that in 3.

but it's true

Japanese games need to ditch their lousy inventory management systems. They are all so archaic and inefficient. More time doing things that should be assigned to shortcuts than actually playing.

Just really sucks to see people ignoring flaws in 1/3 and ignoring any improvements 2 made while pointing at anything that could remotely be called a flaw and hissing.

Mmhmm. That being said, there's a reason I return once in a while to play DeS and DaS1 and haven't touched DS2 and DS3 in what feels like years.

DS3 doesn't draw me in as much as 1 did although I like its story and such more than 2. I'd like it more if some of the choices they'd made were reversed, such as the poise thing. DS2 doesn't draw me in at all, although I remember liking a few aspects and thinking the way they handled NPCs was interesting. Felt like there really were other adventurers than yourself out there, making moves. DS3's strongpoint is boss fights of course.

All that being said, I find myself just GIVING A FUCK about DeS and DaS1 a lot more than those other two, to the point where I'm willing to forgo their improvements. I wish they'd remaster them with a unified set of mechanics and incorporating all animation variations, somehow. Something like a more flourished version of a given attack for a STR based weapon being used when you also have high DEX.

You had me until:

>"Unfinished" meme
>meme

The game is literally unfinished. With a full mission that was scrapped due to time. Nice try though, here's your (((you))) I guess.

Everyone has preferences of course. 1 is really charming and the firelink theme could keep me coming back for years. I still prefer 2 though. The biggest reason being the way it handled the undead curse. Playing 1, I never felt like being cursed would be a bad thing, sounds like a great deal. 2 makes it much more horrifying and something I wouldn't wish upon anyone.

but crysis 1 was good.

Hmm, I suppose you're right in that regard and probably contributes to making the NPCs feel more "alive" to me, although before you said so I'd not realized it. I always felt that "continuing to exist" is a really good motivation to not die, though, and so always felt like the "curse" would be impossible to have be a bad rap, personally.

Yeah, in 1 it just feels like an extended lifespan. In 2 it's more like losing everything you are, slowly. Closest 1 ever got to that was the merchant before the iron giant. Which was quite effective but not enough in my opinion.

Yeah, exactly. It drove home, now that you're making me remember, that the curse itself causes despondency and loss of the sense of self, of the spark of individuality. You begin to undergo a sort of atrophy leading to information-theoretic death, which is unavoidable but may be staved off so long as you have a strong will and take measures against it such as that pirate girl using mnemonic devices.

In DS1, it always felt like as long as you didn't "give up" whatever it was that motivates you, you'd be fine. DS2 made it clear that it was a greased slide to Awfultown.

>The game is literally unfinished.
So is literally any other game in existence mongrel.

>"Boss, we've set up a new division. I call it: 'Shitposting Division.' It's got its roots in PSYOPs. Basically, what we do is PLAY THE LIKE A DAMNED UKELELE!"
