How is this game?

Not as low after Utopia dropped. 4 out of the 5 games i've run so far has seen it.

And here i thought i was special....

Is stellaris good yet?

The new DLC definitely improves the game.

Also:

>horizon signal

I was fucking confused the first time I got this line. I had no idea what was going on, and I didn't realize how rare it was.

What does it do?

Big ol quest chain with a few different endings. There was like a 5% chance to get it before utopia.

Oh cool thanks for the info. I've been wanting to pick this game up since it came out.

Another question if my body is burning hot, but I feel really cold, like shivering, teeth chattering cold, and can't warm up that's probably just a fever right?

Yeah. Your body is telling you that you are cold because it wants you to sweat out the nastyness. Drink lots of fluids or you'll end up vomiting/diarrhea.

Thanks user, I knew I was right asking you.

If you scroll down and just glance at the thumbnail of op it looks like a fucking eye and then if you look at it a little longer it looks like a terrifying eye that's looking at you, then you eventually realize it's a black hole and the eye gets bigger and it just gets worse.

Is this game good?

I remember it being interesting at the early game but incredibly tedious past the midgame.

Since Utopia it's definately better

BUT

because of the utter LACK of diplomacy and I'd argue variety in other empires actions relative to their unique characteristics there still is a feeling of something missing.

It's getting better, but it's like every other paradox game I've played. They released a framework and will now release a hundred DLC's for it.

In another few DLC's it'll probably be really good. Right now it's ok.

If you expect grand strategy you going to be disappointed and the combat is fucking awful.
It look like what would happen if the american decided to give a chance to the japs.

yeah, the best thing to do imo is wait five years then get a really deep, kickass game on sale for like $30 with everything

Is there a way to scroll or expand the ship list at the bottom here? It's impossible to get ship numbers with the UI cutoff.

OH SHIT, is that Event Horizon? Are you about to get demonic ships?

Off the top of my head I can already guess what some future DLC's are going to add. Espionage, some sort of real trade system, probably a total rebalance of combat since missiles seem to be fundamentally broken and I can't think of a way to fix them in the current system. The ability to destroy worlds. Probably a huge rework of the entire diplomacy system. Some form of player driven end game crisis.

That being said Utopia is pretty good.

Missiles can be easily fixed. Nerf point defense, make sure the fired missiles fire in swarm so that some always get through, and make sure that if the current target is destroyed they re-scan and go for another heat signature instead of idiotically explosing into nothing.

Also an option on how you want your ships to engage and to make them spread out firepower instead of half of them firing on one target and overkilling a corvette with 5 battleships with tachyon lances
