Alex is pretty damn faithful to the original material. I like how powerful he feels (and I really do mean feel, I know he's not high in tier lists). All of his moves seem to have a lot of weight to them.
Ibuki not as much, but they made her so versatile that I feel like it's a shame to complain about it. And she still has a lot of her signature moves.

Alex is pretty close to his 3S iteration in the fact that he's got cool looking moves but is generally pretty weak.
Hell, even his meter'd anti air-specific moves don't have any invincibility and all his forward-moving specials have zero priority and janky hurtboxes like 5 feet in front of him just like in 3s.
