What games did early 2000s kids (see chart) grow up on?

What games did early 2000s kids (see chart) grow up on?

Depends on how old they were when they started playing video games you fucking retard. But for the most part:

Was born in 1997 but my family was poor growing up so we had a n64 and a ps1.
No lie I never knew xbox existed until I saw a xbox 360

test

1997.
Halo 2 and 3, and also fable. I also had a gba and PS2 but don't remember playing anything i actually liked except for the onimusha series

fifa is a sign of:
not american
poor
BRBR/mexican
owns a PS2 to play fifa 14

I asked for early 2000s kids but I'm getting pure 00s kids instead.

Read the chart desu senpai baka

97 here

my first psx game is nascar rumble

I didn't know the Sega Dreamcast existed until I started browsing Sup Forums

>asking for underage to comment

you did this to yourself OP

'93, class of '11

SMW
GTA
HL

Definitely not what OP is asking for I played some of those games and I'm an early 90s baby.

'95 here
Amiga, NES, SNES, N64, PS1
Was in neighborhood daycare while my parents worked, so loads of vidya
First vidya I remember was Mario 64, 100%d at 3~4yrs
daycare mom's sons sneaked me in some Quake and UT when she wasnt looking
I think I had it pretty swank growing up

halo 3, halo ODST, call of duty 4, GTA 4, guitar hero 3

Depends on whether you're before or after.

'94 grew up with Ocarina of Time (first videogame I ever played) Majora's Mask (first Zelda I finished) Megaman X4(first videogame I finished)-X6, Castlevania Symphony of the Night (first game I marathoned), Conker's Bad Fur Day. Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, Halo 1 and 2, Dragon Ball Z Budokai 1-3, Metroid Fusion (my first metroid), Tekken 5 (my first fightan, got into competitive and I'm decent on TTT2)
Fun fact, due to me not being financially buoyant, I had to resource to VBA to play then-current gen games. My first Pokemon was Sapphire, emulated, my first turn-based RPG was Golden Sun.
I'm kind of grateful for not having money to afford consoles back in those days. I learned a lot from older games. My cousins recommended me a lot of good shit.
>that feel when I went through Chrono Trigger without knowing what the hell it was
>everything about that game was tremendous
>tfw cried manly tears when finished Terranigma
>tfw freaking Secret of Evermore and its amazing setting
I went backwards with vidya, started current and went retro. That's not to say I don't appreciate modern vidya, I love it. I had a ps3, had a blast, that was my first console bought with my own birthday money when I turned 19. Then bought a 3DS, then a Wii U.

early 90s is when you're born if you're an 00 kid. look at the chart. he's asking what kids who grew up in the 00s were playing, not kids who were born then. i was born in 94.

See that chart is a bit stupid. I was born in 92 and my brother in 94, but we had the same shit growing up. WHy would he be considered 00's kid and I'm not?

PS2/GCN + GBA was what I owned.
I played the GBA the most because of pokemon.
I played shitty licensed games, Jak, and Maximo on my PS2.
Metroid, Smash, Zelda, and Mario Kart on the GCN.
Pokemon and the Mario Advance games on the GBA.

95
Pokemon
NES/SNES Mario
SNES Beat em' Ups
Spyro
Crash
City of Heroes
Runescape
Smash
Mario Kart
Gran Turismo

98fag though i've been coming on Sup Forums for like 6 years now, mainly lurking
started vidya on n64, dreamcast, ps2, sometimes would go to a friends house to play turok on their xbox.
went through 2 gamecubes though i dunno what happened to them.

96 here.
I grew up playing GameCube games and my neighbor friend had a ps1. I eventually got a ps2.
I fondly remember
Custom Robo
Skies of Acadia
Tales of Symphonia
Resident Evil 4
Enter The Matrix

Eventually bought a ps2

Then Xbox 360

Then much later got a ps3

Got a ps4 last Christmas.

Graduated 2014

>92

Does this mean I am a 90's kid? Because that's pretty fucking sad that I can't remember anything prior to 1997

NES, SNES, Genesis, and N64 early on and later got a Gamecube and PS2. When I was a teenager I got a Wii and a 360.

My first game was Megaman 2 and my favourite game is Phantasy Star IV

94, 2011
pretty much played the ever living fuck out of FF7 and Red Alert 2 when I was a kid

'97 here, I only remember a couple of games, but I played them a fuck ton.
Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc, which i still love, Midtown Madness 3, Battlefront 2, still great, Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex, and Sonic Heroes, which while I recognize is shit, I still have a deep fondness for it.

Requesting porn of Caillou's dad naked please. I need this right now.

Please help me

because you had two entire years of living in the 90s before him. 1/5th of the decade. that might not seem like a lot now at 27 but remember back in grade 3 when a year was a really fucking long time? you only even become sentient and start having memories around 4-5 years old. that means his earliest memories were in 98 or 99, the very tail end of the 90s. you were functioning and creating memories and experiencing life in 96-97. that's 3-4 years compared to his 1-2. you have actual memories of the 90s. i was born in 94 and all I remember of the actual 90s was New Years Eve 2000 when my parents had all of our family over.

91 here.
I had a GameCube and a ps2. Favorite GameCube games were melee and tales of symphonia. Favorite ps2 games were war of the monsters and ffx.

Played the shit out of modern warfare on 360.

Forgot to mention resident evil 4

SNES from age 5-6
Gameboy Advance
PS2
from 7-12 for me
Grew up on Ratchet and Clank, DBZ Budokai, GTA Vice City/San Andreas, FFX, Spongebob Squarepants Battle for Bikini Bottom, Pokemon RSE and FRLG, Bomberman Tournament (Adventure in the US I think?) FF1&2 Dawn of Souls and DBZ Legacy of Goku (both)

it was a good era to be born in

Legacy of Goku 2 is fucking amazing, it's hard to believe how good it was after how clunky and shit the first game was

1993, Eastern Europe

AoE II
Quake II and III
Return to Castle Wolfenstein
GTA series (starting from 2)
MoHAA
Call of Duty
Warcraft II and III
Theme Park World
Fable
Colin McRae Rally 2
World of Warcraft (private servers)

'90.
In childhood I played a shitload of Starcraft, Warcraft 2 and Diablo 2.
Blizz was THE company of a dream and it seemed they physically couldn't make anything short of masterpiece.
Also there was some F1 driving game from Accolade, can't remember the name.
And I loved watching my dad play Wolf 3D.

Buu's Fury is the same engine if you havent played it

I liked the first game just fine though; clunkiness included

'99, was in a poorer family. Used to go over to my cousin's place who was born in '87 and play all of his consoles since he had all of them, from NES to Gamecube. First console was the PS2 but my cousin allowed me to borrow his PS1 games. Never got a PS1 memory card, so I kept replaying games from the start or complete a game in one sitting. Died a couple of months ago, still have some of the borrowed games.

Born 94
Played a lot of pokemon, RuneScape, the 007 games on n64 and GameCube, medal of Honor, GBA Castlevanias
All stopped when I started MapleStory and haven't quit since. It's been like 10+ years

I liked the first game as well even though I know it's a clunky piece of shit. I lost it seeing the intro on the tiny GBA screen back then, it was crazy seeing an anime cutscene in a handheld game

27?

25. For some reason I thought you said 90 when i was writing how old you were.
