I think it's time we, as a community, acknowledge something about Playstation and Xbox in general.
Aside from a few 'megahit' titles like GTA and COD, you never really see their core audience get excited to play anything else. These games launch, at most, once a year.
Meanwhile, on Switch, games like Snipperclips, Snake Pass, and Graceful Explosion Machine do really well and are popular among the audience. These games launch every week.
I think Switch will quickly generate more revenue than Playstation because, well, there is just genuine enthusiasm behind the games that come to the platform every week.

Why should anyone care what other people like? The PS4 is the best console and has more must have stuff than the Switch will ever have, and having that selection is great.

People are reacting more vocally to the Switch releases because there are so few. Which is fine, it's a new platform and it's not going to have most titles.
Nintendo have carved out their own niche since the WiiU announcement. Whether or not it's ultimately succesful is yet to be seen, but they did just put out a game widely considered GOAT.
