Opinions on Mick Gordon?
his soundtrack is pretty much the only thing keeping me interested in the new prey.
Sounds like it should be in Hotline Miami
dude's legit. wouldn't mind his name poping up more.

He also did the nuDOOM and Wolfenstein soundtracks

Pretty fucking based. His works for KI and Doom are almost flawless
more like hack gordon
I liked his DOOM soundtrack

This is pretty fukn cool
Wolf>Doom, imo
seemed like a decent dude, bit too hyper for my taste though
Pretty good, but hes known for remakes not originals.
Koji Kondo > Uematsu > Marty > Russell Shaw > Mick Gordon
Overrated as h*ck. D44M soundtrack was a total blunder.
Same here.
I don't really care about the new direction for Prey but Mick Gordon is top tier composer from this generation along with Keiichi Okabe, so anything from him will get a big amount of interest from my part.
Chris Avellone is working on the game.
what kind of music would you have suggested for it then?
bretty gud
Either full on electro or rock (preferably), not a mix of both.
BFG Division.
Are you 12?
shitty facial hair
Only dig his KI tracks. D44M was filled with tracks that sounded similar.
Well I don't think electro would fit the game and it's not really rock it's more industrial metal
Considering old doom is midi simulating heavy metal I think what he made fits the tone of the game
i do not hear rock in this.
there's a few songs from doom I liked but most of it I feel not only didn't fit the game but was just generally bad music.
I don't know what the fuck is wrong with you kids that you actually like some of that shit. I mean on one hand I know I sound like i'm getting old and I should respect the fact that you kids just like different music but on the other hand I listen to like the Hell fight song for example and I feel pretty confident that you guys are the ones who are wrong.
This fucking song is the best part about the game
I thoroughly enjoy his works and I hope he has a long lasting career. I could have done without some of the wubs in the new doom soundtrack, but there were a lot of tracks I really enjoyed either way. Mostly BFG division and Skull Cracker.
Also, as someone who has a hard on for 80s synth music and hotline miami, I love his prey track "Everything will be alright"
nice song but too bad the game looks like a piece of shit
literally bioshock in space (inb4 hurr system shock, don't even compare the system shock masterpieces to this watered down bethesda crap). they even took the oxygen element out of free roaming outside the space station because they're casualizing it hard.
Fuck off Sup Forums.
>Mick Gordon is doing music for Routine
Now if only they'd release the damn thing
1 2
it's not shit I'd listen to outside of the game, but it fits the quick, demonic brutality of the game's combat perfectly, especially with the dynamic aspects that the game handles.
I dunno dude I'm 30 and I like many different genres of music from classical to rap to electronica
to be fair I'm also an idort
I'm actually 18 but thank you for your concern :)
this is the song i'm referring to that offends me so much by the way.
Honestly in game it works as a tension builder
I liked his Killer Instinct stuff, but his DOOM OST didn't really grab me as much.
>its real
Is that game ever fucking coming out?
It was delayed yet again but it should be out in about a month or two.
