Why can't I get a switch? It's been almost 2 months now and people are still buying Switches in bulk. It's ridiculous Nintendo can't ship more. How much longer will this go on. You can't say it's another Wii U situation because by this time it was January and the Wii U's hype died.

I saw 2 at my local Walmart a couple of weeks ago but came back a few hours later and they had been sold. I occasionally look to see if they are in stock in various stores and that's the only time I've seen them. To be fair I'm sure if you try hard enough you can get one now but it was impossible at launch until recently. I will buy one when I'm caught up on all the shit I have on ps4.

I got my switch from a Toy's R Us after someone posted it on Sup Forums that they were getting a restock. Got the third last one they had but no Zelda (had 20 in total). So I went to a target for zelda and saw that they also had a switch. I'd say try to go in the morning when stores receive new stock.

Zelda was my main draw. I admit I could have just gotten a PS4, as basically everything else is on that. I'm still having some fun with my Switch

No, she doesn't really play videogames a lot but Zelda really got to her because of the pretty graphics and how chill the game is. Other games she likes are Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon. So she pretty much only likes Nintendo games.

When Stardew Valley comes out for the Switch, get her to try it.

After the Wii U's initial slow sales I imagine Nintendo is going conservative with production. Scalpers are having a field day as well to the point that BoTW has outsold Switches themselves in North America.

As a side recommendation to new Switch owners, fuck the Hori Stand. I'd go for one of the metal tablet stands online for about 20 and go with one of those- better build quality, more angles, and more portable. Definitely recommend some kind of stand because being able to charge and play away from the TV is nice.
