Honestly, my favorite part of the prequel trilogy was the droid army. I loved the designs of all the battle droids. Plus they were way more comical than Jar-Jar ever was in my opinion.

Because there is next to no clone wars content to show. The clone troopers will just be retextured stormtroopers(concept art even shows them using stormtrooper weapons) and the CIS will just be B1 Battle droids with no droidekas or super battle droids. Then there will probably only be 2 Maps and 4 Heroes and thats it, unless they decide to triple the Battlefront 1's map number.

Tbh I enjoyed the Prequel movies. I watched them as a kid and as a kid I only cared for the action bits. Id hate them if i rewatched it now days at 23 but eh

still better then any of the Disney Star Wars shit at least.

with the game being relatively close to release I'd assume all eras are on about the same level of completion but they polished up the OT and sequel era content to show off for marketing (especially since the release ties into the new movie).

I'd ask for a Felucia but DICE being so fucking cheap and can't code anything as alien as Felucian jungle it can't be possible. Also having a Geonosis would mean making Gen1 clone armor assets, too much work and time than just touching up Stormtrooper armor making it look gen 2.

I haven't even played the new BF but the idea of droids and clones again is very tempting

I wouldn't be surprised if they release geonosis with gen2 clones and then patch in gen1 armor at a later date, similar to how they launched Hoth with RotJ Luke and later patched him to have his Hoth gear

The kamino concept art does have phase 1 troopers though.
My guess is that you can pick different armor styles in customization, like you can choose between normal and scout troopers for OT, since the main difference between the clone armors are in the helmet anyways.
But that would mean that there would be phase 1 and 2 troopers fighting alongside each other, which would trigger my autism harder that stormtroopers without helmets in the first game

Jetpacks are confirmed, as they exist in the current BF and the promotional trailer for BF2 shows jetpacks on troopers, but more importantly, the addition of trooper classes is quite promising.

Jango Fett gets decapitated.
The geonosians and tusken raiders are decapitated or sliced in two, Anakin has his arm sliced off.
Dooku has both hands cut off before being decapitated.
Anakin slices up all of the CIS leaders on Mustafar before he himself is dismembered by Obi-Wan.

I don't think droidekas are super out of the question because they were such a big staple in the original BF2

It's most likely Droidekas and Super Battledroids are going to be vehicle pick ups. Only infantry will be Battledroids and maybe Magaguards. It wouldn't be all that bad if the Super's are the ones from Republic Commando, hard as fuck to kill. But if they make Droidekas vehicle pick ups that would be retarded.

R1 was good, it was star wars. TFA was a jumbled, poorly edited mess. The timing of the whole movie was completely off, it was like reading a narrative written for children. Which it was.

As an adult, there is nothing enjoyable about the TFA, aside from the nostalgia brownie points.

They photo-scan most things into the game, but the Clones never had a physical set of armour.

The Sequels aren't even bad, they're just mediocre. The Prequels at least had some neat visuals, politics, and expanded a bit on alien species to make up for some of the worse acting. TFA just feels a bit bland.

I at least have a bit of hope for TLJ, assuming they can fix Rey's character and Luke isn't snubbed. I legitimately want Kylo Ren to get a redemption arc.

Not him but R1 did a god job making the only proper Force wielder be Darth Vader, and then having him be utterly unstoppable when he showed up. It gave the Force a more mystical feel again rather than just some kind of background macguffin or deus ex machina.

It'll be more like Battlefield, there is a limited amount of spawnable vehicles per team.

I just feel like there was no room for space adventure. It's the whole basis of star wars, travel and exploration. The OT took the time to showcase the planets, some dialogue and then moved the plot forward in incremental steps. Same with the prequels. TFA went from planet to planet, week to week and made it seem like everything happened within the 2 hours the movie actually took.

It's a frenzy of coincidences and conveniences with no proper breaks in between. The cantina scene felt strangely arresting, right? Cus the entire movie is forced forwards in some edited panic, hoping they don't make the movie too long. The whole thing didn't flow properly and as a result wasn't immersive. That was it's issue.

Snoke is conditioning Kylo to possess his body. After Rey beats him, Snoke will change his mind and possess her instead, with Kylo running away. The third Sequel will have an internal conflict in Rey's mind, and Force Ghost Anakin teaching Kylo to come back from the Dark Side.

There's nothing really mystical about that. He's just good at killing mooks, what a thrill. The scene was directed pretty well, but mystical stuff is shit like Obi-Wan becoming "more powerful" than Vader can possibly imagine, or the cave scene with visions. Killing mooks is just killing mooks, sword or blaster or whatnot.

Personally I only a little that way inclined because there wasn't any lightsaber wielding main characters. Less spectacular and fulfilling to watch. Everyone wants to be a Jedi and lightsaber their way through walls and do cool shit.

It's a different style of movie, but not exactly try hard. It ain't perfect but it's good enough. I felt the same way I felt about episode 2.
