Other urls found in this thread:
>Also is CK2 good?
It's pretty fun.
>And what are the must have DLCs?
All of them, except Sunset Invasion
buy the main game from g2a or sites like that
and then search for ck2 creamapi
never buy any fuckin dlc for paradox games
Its good. Lots of incest and conquering Europe. You should get a feel for the game first and then read about the DLCs and add the ones that appeal to you.
>is ck2 good
Well, do you like grand strategy? Then yes, it's pretty good and different that the usual games that give you a country and let you just blob around. In this one you play as a specific character with the goal of keeping your dynasty alive.
>what are the must have DLCs
there's so many I forgot what all of them even do. Most of them even change existing content and mechanics along with adding new content, so it really would be best to get all of them.
If you're not a moralfag go pirate them (hastebin.com
happy bday
and this, sunset invasion is shit
All the DLC besides Sunset Invasion which is garbage
Most of it is face shit and music (some of which you should avoid, like anything that says "metal" just doesn't fit into the game at all, same with Orchestral Horse Lords etc)
Reminder that you can pirate all the DLC with a Steam copy of the game that you bought
>Most of it is face shit and music
*that you don't need
strongly recommend all DLCs minus sunset invasion and rajas of india.
But if I had to single out a few must-haves they would be:
the old gods
conclave
way of life
the reaper's due
most of the others are only necessary if you want to play a non-christian/non-pagan ruler or a republic. I include TOG as a must-have because germanic pagans are some of the most fun rulers to play.

Alright, I heard Conclave is shit, or is it just a meme? I also played Vicky 2 by the way
>is CK2 good
steep as shit learning curve if youve never grand strategyd before. watch tutorials by arumba to help you learn
reapers due
old gods
way of life
sword of islam
Try it out
Basically it's "shit" if you are terrible at the game and just want to click on shit to paint the map
DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT DEUS VULT
it's annoying because the council cucks you out of everything and even when you make them happy they'll still complain and join faction to fuck with you again because they can.
Still it's okay to get for some mechanics
just note that arumba's tutorials are ancient and not correct for some things that were changed throughout all the patches and DLCs
Its good
>buy main game
>grab DLCs from cs rin ru
>grab creamAPI from cs rin ru
>get HIP mod
>?????
if you liked the game buy the DLCs
Thanks anons, what other games should I get? I am thinking about E.Y.E, M&B and Morrowind
Are they good?
well you can get me hollow knight for good advices OP
Playing E.Y.E is like injecting every drug at once directly into your brainstem.
Yes. Get it. If you ever need questions answered about it just start a thread, eyefags are always around.
they're all good
Alright, I guess if I have some questions I'll just start a new thread about the games
E.Y.E. is wonky but interesting and I would rate it as a good time over all
M&B is very fun, especially for mods
Look at the general on /vg/ if you have no idea where to look after you played vanilla for a bit
Just a heads up user. It was my birthday 5 days ago and I bought CK2 because I was interested in it for a long time and I enjoy gsg. But oh my fuck is it boring as hell, luckily I refunded it but in those 2 hours literally nothing happened and I was playing the tutorial.
Just know that it's a game for certain people, maybe it is perfect for you but for me it is probably one of the shittiest games I have ever played, not my cup of tea at all.
>inb4 armchair generals sperg out with their l33t history skillz
Happy Birthday btw.
you seem to have great taste user.
you'll get the most out of morrowind, then m&b and then eye.
they're all great. i have a friend with hundreds of hours in CK2, but i havent played so i can't comment on it.
Crusader Kings 2 is a fantastic blend of strategy, management, RPG, and text adventure elements.
>I played ck2 from when I woke up yesterday to about an hour ago
I have stuff to do today, but yeah ck2 is pretty alright I guess
I am trying to play games outside of normie tier stuff, I've seen pics like this one and other ones, are they good and available on pc?
Reaper's Due was the second DLC I disabled after Sunset Invasion, that whole "build a hospital/fort/whatever the fuck and keep upgrading it" for any province felt like a huge chore that I definitely do not need, also those random events fucked my first character so hard it made the whole concept seem sour. First I get these events for finding a court doctor, then he "accidentally" forgets to anesthesize my character for a surgery which makes my char a lunatic, ok fine, I get an option to rightfully imprison him which should have rung some bells but I thought it really was an accident so I don't do anything. For the next surgery he castrates my char. So what the fuck? That random person who was created as my court doctor had some secret agenda against me? Also diseases running rampant everywhere all the time. It just felt like the whole experience was being damped by forcing the game to focus on this DLC which is fucking dumb.
People dying from disease was pretty common and rampant during this time, you don't have to build hospitals but having a court physician is pretty much necessary but you can only get those nasty eunuch events and stuff when you do an experimental treatment, which you should only do when the disease will kill you.
I play with it and don't even mess with hospitals unless I have loads of dosh, if you cant deal with the diseases you are playing bad.
Just let the diseases run rampant, it helps with performance when courts get wiped out.
>being this bad at video games
holy cannoli
>having a court physician is pretty much necessary
Dark Healing says otherwise.
>being a satanist
>not based hermetic
It's like you hate having taste
