Something that always struck me as odd is that the dialogue will sometimes suddenly change topic. It doesn't happen a lot, but when it does it's really noticeable, like the scene early in the game when Shulk and Fiora walk in on Reyn trying to pick up the Monado.

Like, they're talking about how the Monado can't cut people, and then Shulk suddenly tangents onto symbols without moving it back to the original topic.

Xenoblade Chronicles X had some goofy voice acting, but in a great way that kinda emphasized the B-Movie plot and settings. Tried the game again with Jap voices and it just felt like the creators took the game too seriously.
