Just judging off what I've seen, Homefront looks like another bland fps while M3 is an unwanted sequel that panders and has bad gameplay plus it's buggy.

Homefront actually seems like a possibly enjoyable game, despite how generic it seems. Plus, it had a hidden playable port of Timesplitters 2 in the game.

it was a revenge plot, which is always hard to pull off, but the game was still really fun and smooth. The gunplay is where it really shines.

Mafia 2 didnt have a cliffhanger, it was very clear how things were going to go for the main characters.
Plus, even if it had a cliffhanger mafia 3 certainly wasnt gonna do it any favours

DESU I liked Mafia 3 for whatever reason. It has its flaws, sure, but there are some games that I'll play just for the setting, and this is one of them

He was being taken to answer for his role in starting a war with the Triads, but along the way he managed to overpower the men he was with, knocking out the front teeth and cracking an eye socket of one of them. He got loose and left Empire Bay, eventually ending up in Chicago where he turned to a couple of guys he knew for help, but they turned on him. In the end Joe was severely beaten and had his hands cut off and face smashed to hell. When it was over there wasn't anything left for anyone to find. His friend Vito spent a decade tracking down those responsible for killing Joe, finally turning to Lincoln Clay to seek his revenge.
