Well I mean suppressed weapons do use subsonic rounds, so they would have reduced velocity and reduced damage depending on the armor on the target

I don't know what silenced guns sound like IRL, I just know that they're not magical devices that become inaudible from 5 meters away, and in Hitman silenced gunshots are pretty fucking loud.
For gameplay purposes they're still not realistic, but they're not "shoot a guy from a distance of 3 meters and the guy next to him hasn't noticed a thing" type of silencers.
