Front Misson 3
It looks off putting, but it's a great arcade racer.
Vagrant Story, MML1 if you like 2, FF7, FF8, FF Anthology if you don't want to emulate FF4-5 on SNES, and I'm sure there are some great Japanese games that never got localized
oh shit I didn't even think of mech games good call man. never played but ill check it out
Can't go wrong with Square and Capcom games of that era
Yeah I played Megaman 64 which is I guess the same as the ps1 version maybe graphics are different. Vagrant story looks neat combat system at least
Final Fantasy Tactics isn't on there - that's probably the top game in the entire genre, Square at their peak
Oh, and Tactics Ogre got a PS1 release - great game with some annoying flaws
both are must-plays if you like SRPGs
>need some tactic or srpg
>missing ff tactics
Nigga what are you doing
Add that shit asap
How is Launch Box? Easy to setup?
FF Tactics
Vigilante 8 2nd Offense
Jack Chan Stuntmaster
Digimon World
CTR
Armored Core
Tomba/Tombi
Rollcage
Jumping Flash
Azure Dreams
Yeah Its pretty easy to setup and import your roms. You get nice and neat portraits and you can set it to open the rom with the emulator of your choice.
Yeah FF Tactics and Ogre are the obvious I should have just added. I played the tactics game on gba and didnt dig on it so never played these but im gonna get on that
>PS1 srpgs
Front Mission 3
Final Fantasy Tactics
Tactics Ogre
Arc the Lad 1-3
Brigandine: The Legend of Forsena
Saiyuki: Journey West
Vandal Hearts 1-2
Vanguard Bandits
Kartia: The Word of Fate
Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure (kind of a kiddie srpg but charming)
Avoid:
Eternal Eyes
Hoshigami: Ruining Blue Earth
Azure Dreams looks fucking lit im downloading that as I type this
the old vsrecommened wiki has a decent listing.

Get you some vehicular mayhem games. Twisted Metal 1-4, Vigilante 8 1-2, and the true gem of the genre on PS1, pic.
Ghost in the Shell
haha that game looks one id buy for 2 dollars but end up loving it anyway
Digimon World is probably one of the most challenging RPGs for PS1 it's a mix of raising a tamagochi with a pretty good RPG adventure. Really fun actually,
Also can't miss out on that Spyro the Dragon
Check out Saiyuki Journey to the west, I haven't played this one yet but I have seen it being mentioned a few times.
Recommending some other stuff since most srpgs have already been mentioned
Oddworld: Abe's Oddysey / Exoddus
Tenchu 1 and 2
Spyro trilogy (I like 1 the most)
Resident Evil games, avoid dualshock edition if you want to play the first
Dino Crisis 1 if you want more RE, 2 for a more arcadey game
Parasite Eve 1 and 2
Breath of Fire 3 and 4
Digimon World ( avoid PAL version, it has a gamebreaking bug)
Brave Fencer Musashi
Valkyrie Profile
Rayman and Skullmonkeys, they are tough platformers at times, both got sweet music.
Moderately related to this thread considering 2 of the games are on the platform: which Breath of Fire game do people recommend trying? I think I played a tiny bit of 4 a decade ago but can't remember shit about it.
Oh and OP try the already mentioned Vandal Hearts
TRPG without any grindan and full of varied maps/objectives. Biggest con is probably the lack of customization (pretty much limited to picking 1 of 2 branch classes per character).
Tomb Raider 1 is seriously my favorite game of all time. Play it.
PSX has my favorite version of Lunar on it. Maybe you might like Xenogears since you've got some jrpgs on there. Parasite Eve is a super great jrpg, as well. Maybe you'd like the Granstream Saga, as well.
Nice choice on SaGa Frontier.
Honestly, any of the 4 are good starting points. People argue whether 3 or 4 is the best, but I'm more of a 2 person. For what it's worth, I prefer the fan translation for the SNES over regular 2 now.
