Before anyone asks, its true.
Merciless only gives less money and exp but literally allows you to one hit enemies if you target their weakness or put them to sleep before hitting them.
Why is merciless easier than hard? I just chose hard off the bat instead of normal, wanted to save merciless for later
See here Merciless makes no goddamn sense. If they truly wanted it to be 'merciless' they would only have enemies get x3 more criticals.
it's only easier in the early stages in the game for obvious reasons that your not as gimped exp wise like hard in later stages in the game. that crit is a double edge sword and haunts you later
Hard isn't even that hard to begin with especially late game once you rank up confidants and get persona's with good buffs/debuffs.
I played it on Hard, did anyone else think the endgame bosses Akechi onwards were easy as hell? Didn't waste a single soma on this game
Shido was still an uphill Climb but the final boss was mildly disappointing. I feel like they cranked up your party member's numbers a lot from 4. Ryuji and the MC were able to hit the bastard for upwards of 2k easily which kind of made his gimmicks pointless since you were forcing him to cycle through them so fast.
Why is no one choosing Merciless?
because its literally "grind more" difficulty
Only the first two bosses were difficult. After that you have options available to you and can pretty easily steamroll the rest of the game.
The moment you max out the velvet lolis the game's difficulty goes to shit. Having yoshitsune available the moment your max Morgana on the first playthrough is a crime.
Safe is the best difficulty desu senpai
>After that you have options available to you and can pretty easily steamroll the rest of the game.
then there is no excuse to not play on merciless
>tfw can't afford Persona 5 so just replaying Persona 4
Well sorry i dont want to beat a game in 1 hour you fucking faggot
Get a free trial of Gamefly and rent it.
No. I prefer to own my games.
>beat a game in 1 hour
really? wow. upload that shit to youtube.
Its called the FFWD button and dodging enemies
I just put it on Merciless for bosses. Beyond that I ran the game on normal to help avoid grinding.
>Merciless
>literally "grind" the difficulty
For fucks sake I dont want to feel like a casual because i want to play on Normal to avoid fighting hundreds of enemies for miniscule XP. Its not fair
>I dont want to feel like a casual
Sounds like you have some self-esteem issues you need to work on.
It's like Dante must Die you faggot.
Dante must Die force you to kill fast and at the same time punish you for being slow
Revengeance is the one that make one-hit kill possible
I'm going to play Persona 5 on NORMAL!
same way Revengeance was easier than Very Hard
just get it on ps3 for the classic price of $60, all the ps4 version gets is a barely noticeable resolution increase
beating 80 of the same encounters for a level is far more skillful than 30 of the same encounters for a level
you mean Heaven and Hell right? DMD is straight up murder
Merciless rewards you more for exploiting weaknesses and technical damage by upping how much damage you do with them, but it also neuters your experience and money gains.
Its not about skill. Its about having fun. Taking a chance. Knowing you could die.
But hey, they dont call me dare devil for nothing
I didn't realize the fight with Mr. Pancakes was coming so I didn't eat any curry for sp. The fight itself was very easy aside from that, and yeah, I'm at the start of the last dungeon and I still haven't used a soma.
Nigga doesn't want to get a copyright up the ass
>Grinding is fun
