The MH team has gone on record of stating that the Hunter themselves will never make it to a fighting game. Most people believe that they do that since it goes against the spirit of the game where there isn't a main hero or character, just how you want to play without any preconceived notions.
Felynes however don't have any such restrictions placed on them so they are about the best choice other than a monster.
Nibiru is just a fucking mutant even in his own game/anime so he can have swift kick in the dick.
