MACHINE FUCKING SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITS
Okay so I think the "become as gods" thing had something partly to do with them simply emulating human religion and also partly tying into the Gestalt project somehow
What was the "this cannot continue" thing about though? Went over my head I think
During the opening of Route B, when you are controlling the Stubby, is that machine in fact being hacked by 9S? The player basically is Remote Controlling that character. What does that say about 9S, that he would act out such a scenario?
I got you bro
A playthrough of the game should've been from a machines perspective.
Maybe starting out as a stubby machine, and working your way up to have longer legs and arms and weapon upgrades to fight yorha.
But no. Just boring love story and bland protags.
Machines connected to their own network were pretty much going through a crisis with a neverending cycle fighting androids. Adam was created to put some kind of end to that cycle.
This was the cutest thing ever, I dont know how but the robots in this game are fucking adorable
The become as gods thing is explained by a note or something you find in game. The machines had no meaning in life and found recordings of religion in which humans found meaning through god. Being the mechanical spergs they are, they then decided to leave this world and become one with god in order to find meaning.
Does anyone else think this game has strong antinatalist themes?
Until E shits all over them.
pretty sure they were just a normal group of christian robots until their leader died, which its followers took as a sign he had become a god
.
Pretty sure you are wrong.
I feel so blessed to have been able to join this organization.
For I - unlike other machine lifeforms - have found meaning in death. At first, all I did was study the religion of humans. But then I came to know the existence called "God."
To be honest, I still do not know what "God" truly is. But there is something else I learned since coming here - a life that seems devoid of purpose when faced alone can be perceived as meaningful when you're with someone else. In a world consumed by conflict and hatred, gaining such peace of mind was a happy thing indeed.
For us, death is not the end. It is the beginning.
There is nothing so happy as becoming "God" with everyone else.

I really, really, really like this picture

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
is this a serious sam reference?
Friendly remainder taht there are still nazis in the antarctica
>chip option to make every machine you hack scream like this before exploding
Why would somebody do this
when do we get a DLC about a Führer machine lifeform putting 6 million androids in concentration camps?
The fact they appear in the desert is suspect.
wtf there are more croteam references
Based Taro
I can fucking hear it in my head
Those are all just constructed messages left by players, aren't they?
