DeSu 1 is fucking excellent. DeSu 2 is boring as fuck but the gameplay and music are still really good.

Both are pretty great, though I prefer one slightly. Atsuro and Amane are best from DeSu1 and Daichi, Joe, and Otome are best from 2

I liked it, if it got standard SMT or Persona gameplay but still had it's story it'd be WAY more popular.

The lack of art of her and all of the DeSu girls in general is frightening.

Devil Survivor Overclocked Good Overlord ending is one of the best endings I have seen in the SMT related franchises.

I love both games but I feel that the second is bit more balanced gameplay-wise. Despite that, it's broken badly endgame once you get Multi-Strike/Attack All/Pierce+. Story wise the first game takes the cake but the cast in DeSu2 was better for me (aside from Ronaldo. such an annoying character).


One of my favorite characteristics of his artwork is how great the fashion styles mesh together. Like despite how weird a lot of the clothing in Cyber Sleuth was, it all played off well each other and didn't feel out of place. It's the same case in Devil Survivor.

A lot better than the old one.

Also stealing the authorities of the universe one by one felt so satisfying.

What's the new ending? I never actually got around to playing Record Breaker.

There's no new ending to the base game, the new days are based on a nonexistant combination of the endings where saiduq becomes the administrator AND you reset the world to before the attack and the new days add their own separate endings
start a war against the administrators until all of them are dead and you get to keep all their shit
copy/paste the old world into a new one where the administrators don't exist
become the administrator because the real administrators can't force a human to leave

DeSu's great
DeSu 2's good but the characters and story are awful
Yosuda is a garbage artist that must be stopped

I absolutely love the first one, and while I'm not a fan of the lighthearted tone of the 2nd, it's still a damn good game as well.

Devil Survivor is unironically my favorite MegaTen franchise.

The stories might not be great, but the gameplay is much better than the mindless bullshit you get in SMT or Persona.
