It wasn't that bad.
It wasn't that bad
yeah it was
NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER HE DON'T WANNA BE A NIGGER OH NO NO NO NO NO
wasn't that good either.
It really was.
it was a good start but Fallout NV was much better.
It's on par with 4.
But 4 let us down, at least 3 was novel.
it was worse

I wonder who could be behind this post...
Good babbys first RPG when I was a babby,
Fallout 3 was good. NV was the best game last gen. Fallout 4 was unplayable garbage.
Just playing it after vegas and really don't understand how people can love one and hate another.
Point lookout was the best dlc come and argue me nerds
>hating on a game where liam neesuns is your father
>circle jerking over a game where the supposedly smartest man in the US wasnt smart enough to get his robot army (one who literally was right near you the whole game) to get his super important chip and instead trusted random strangers to deliver it
NV is fun but the circle jerk on Sup Forums and reddit for it is really something else. The game had THREE LOADING SCREENS for the tiny ass vegas strip. If that doesnt tell you there was something extremely wrong with what obsidian was doing idk what will.
NV had a better reputation/path system
The start of the game is great. Wandering the wasteland, seeing Tenpenny Tower from the distance and finally reaching it. Stumbling across Andale randomly and figuring out what the fuck is going there.
As soon as you get to DC it turns to shit, and at higher levels the scaling makes the game incredibly tedious.
underrated
It was alright. Story was bad though, exploration was spot on. I prefer the 3d to isometric. Leveling was broken, because you could become an overpowered demigod in a matter of hours. NPC's added by Broken Steel tended to break and be alpha bullet sponges. Three Dog is overrated. I can't recall any decent NPC's...maybe Butch, because he isn't completely one sided. The Pitt was one of the better DLC's, despite what some say. Soundtrack and atmosphere were incredible overall. In the end, good exploration doesn't hold up if there is no true reason to. If they ever want to make a good Fallout game, they need to ditch the usual "family member has gone missing." But we all know Bethesda needs to drop the gamebryo engine already ffs. All their games will generally feel similar until they do.
Consoles couldn't handle the strip opened up. Keep in mind, if you find a mod that opens the strip, there are around 30 NPC's walking about and the engine can barely handle that.
>Consoles couldn't handle the strip opened up
Then they should have programmed it better instead of spending most of their time filling the game with tedious boring quests to try to hide the fact their game was a broken rushed unfinished mess.
>b-b-b-b-ut they were given a pre built engine to use!
1. They agreed to use the engine before making the game knowing full well its capabilities.
2. They agreed to make the game knowing full well the amount of time they would have
They could have easily asked for more time and promised the game would be even better but they didnt, they just rushed through its so buggy that even the mast avid fan needs atleast 5 or 6 mods just to play it properly.
>let's make something unique since we're setting the game on the other side of the country
>no that's stupid, just take bits of 1, 2 and Tactics and slap them together, who cares if any of it makes sense
