It's much more linear and story focused.
I enjoyed it more because it focuses on encounters that don't feel like fighting random faceless respawning baddies which 7.62 had a lot of.

Procedurally generated, tons of secrets, hidden secret boss level that has lots of requirements you have to meet throughout a regular run to get to, good gameplay, it's just great.
