I vaguely remember playing one of the Codemasters racing games and it having a ton of that shit. Grid, maybe?

I hear the latest Need For Speed is pretty comfy

y summer car would be unironically perfect if it had actual races instead of just time attack, and if it had a rear wheel drive car to drift in. It's dumb to list all the masturbatory expensive sports car simulators when initial D is about a bunch of broke street racing kids

Rift Racer
It's a shit game but pretty fun with some Eurobeat

I miss driftin.io

>initial D is about a bunch of broke street racing kids

I wish it was all the way through. Like in Stage 1 where all the characters shitting start themselves in fear over the R32 GT-R

Cut to 4 where an autist squad is going around to stomp some bland faggot of the week, rinse and repeat

>R32 GTR
>RARE FORMULA ATLANTIC ENGINE

Drifting is for children.

He obviously means the first and second seasons (aka the only good ones) which follow a group of high school age and slightly older losers driving thirty year old Corollas and generation-old Nissan S-chassis (even if Iketani's is a top-trim K's). Nakazato probably sunk all his money he got into his car, having previously owned a 180SX before realizing drifting is stupid and getting the GRIPPU MACHINU, and the RX-7 brothers are rich as fuck which is part of their character and comes up repeatedly in the plot (these douchebags driving around with a full fucking race team to win against some schmucks who get excited over a full tank of gas).

It's only in later seasons where you get nonsense like NSXs and R34 GT-Rs for everybody and their drivers aren't even characters, just faces and names.

Is this Assetto Corsa?

Yeah.

>yfw that faggot Honda driver got what he deserved

American D when?

>"These hicks and their tail-happy V8s and lumpy powerbands. When will they learn the power of high revs and turbocharging?"
>"This engine traces its lineage all the way to 1961- the Fireball survives in this, the fastest street car in America."
>"The red and orange 6 on my fender... it symbolizes victory!"
>[youtube.com/watch?v=zIawk-9PApw begins playing in the background]

Shingo did nothing wrong

Assetto corsa is your game if you are hardcore.

...

I meant the good seasons

torque is really important in drifting most cars have at least inline 6.

...

he really was one of the best characters of the show
