it was good but it runs like shit on PS4( not sure about xbox) the best way like always is on PC. the DLC was a huge disapointment. i did enjoy the settlement building but the DLC focused too much on that rather then new quests. mods did a better job on settlement building then the official DLC. over all i liked it. but it didnt give me the same impact like 3 or NV did.

Here’s thing thing about fallout
fo3 was good for its time, but combat sucked
new vegas was a "new game" but it looked exactly the same and there were no innovative new features, fighting things were a chore. plus there were like no open world respawns, making its replayability the worst.

When you first start out in NV there’s no story at all. I’ve never played an RPG like that. There’s nothign to draw you in, and the game is so retarded if you so much as walk in the wrong direction you get raped by a deathclaw, because ObsSHITian is too lazy to design a decently flowing world map so they lock down sections with high-level mobs.

This is why Fallout 4 is the best.

fallout 4 is by far the most enjoyable. they added innovative new features like settlements, hit markers, respawning enemies (when u compare it to NV its a new feature) and made VATs a lot less cheap. It still is a noob feature, but instead of stopping time it slows time, not by enough in my opinino though. plus, the fo4 main quest is emotionally engaging

Power armor is finally as it should be. Its not a gay looking martian suit that looks so flimsy a 9mm bullet could penetrate it. Now i can believe its actual powerful death suit, not the worst cosplay at faggotcon. Plus, in fo4 you can attach jetpack. A fucking jetpack. Enough said, fo4 is the FIRST 3D fallout to have a jetpack.


It’s 2017. fo4 is just a superior, well polished game. I can’t wait for skyrim remastered. Another great game.

All the mods for this game are trash.

The modding kit took like a year to come out so everyone fucked off and went back to Skyrim modding.
F4 modding is effectively dead.

ah i remember this. they added missions like "destroy 10 robots" but robots were impossible to find or "kill 10 named NCR characters" which were also hard to find.

I unironically enjoyed it more than even Fallout NV.

It is 10/10 with those damage mods that makes everything actually deadly, specially the ghouls and dogs.

You know what I hate the most about this game? The fact that it has no level cap. On top of all the other reasons to not replay it. How can I make a melee oriented character if I'll end up as mr. jack of all trades superman eventually? I want to feel like I'm making progress, not level up infinitely, kill infinite enemies and complete infinite quests.
This game was clearly designed for imbeciles who can't stand the idea of not being able to have everything their eyes can see there and then. Fallout 3 had the same issue. It's a damn shame because this sort of mentality makes the games feel like dumb themeparks.

It's not as good as 3 or New Vegas overall, but if you want more of those games you will have fun with it. Just don't expect it to be a complete improvement over the past titles like you would want it to be.

Casual, straightforward games can still be fun. It's not like they hid the fact that it was intended as an open world shooter with RPG elements rather than focusing on the RPG aspect like its predecessors. It would be unreasonable to expect everyone to watch only "deep" movies and say watching simple action flicks is badwrongfun.
