Is BoTW better than Witcher 3?
Yes because Japan>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Western shit
yes, it retroactively went back and made all modern open-world games unplayable. I recently went back to play W3 and found myself wanting to do little things like cut grass or climb over an obstacle. It's actually quite infuriating how much you CAN'T do in most Open World games.
Also, Witchr 3 aged like milk
yeah but not as much as the metascores (and your outdated image) would indicate.
Never say that to my perfecet game again.
WHY DO YOU MAKE THE SAME SHITTY THREAD EVERY FUCKING DAY HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH???
EVERY FUCKING DAY THIS FAGGOT
EVER
FUCKING
DAY
HURRR WHAT WEENT WRONG EHH?!????
HURRHRURHURRRRR IS X BETT ER THEN Y ???????
DURRR WELL I DONT KNOW FAGGOTUS MAXIMUS YOU FUCKING SHIT
FUCK OFF WITH THOSE SHITTY FUCKING THREADS
JUST FUCKING KILL YOURSELFV GOD SHIT
FUCKING REPORTED AND SAGED
MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODS
NO
I'd say so. Breath of the wild just gives you so much freedom with its intricate mechanics that make everything feel connected, and let you discover things that no one has seen before. For example, did you know that if a Guardian and one of those big rock bosses come together, they can actually fight each other? Witcher 3 has really good and engaging side quests, but compared the breath of the wild, it's just not as fun.
I actually didn't know that
They are completely different games despite what Sup Forums would have you believe so there's no point comparing them.
jesus christ
You can compare the open world aspect.
Witcher 3 is Eastern not Western you fucking moron
In that regard BoTW is better.
>did you know that if a Guardian and one of those big rock bosses come together, they can actually fight each other?
I honestly hope you're not impressed about enemies in a game fighting each other.
Yeah, but the way they react to each other's tactics feels natural, as the guardian will actually try to shoot at his weak point and might ignore link completely.
Also, a fire keese caught in the rain will burn softer and duller until he dies from the water.
I honestly hope you're not impressed about a game being fun.
no. one appeals to adults who've had sex. the other appeals to adults with autism who've never touched a girl.
if witcher 3 weren't based around some bad book series by an old conceited polish faggot it would be the greatest thing ever
Our attempts at bait have becoming so obvious nowadays.
What went wrong? We used to be so good at this.
Eastern for you, amerifag.
Too bad your continent can't make games for shit.
>We used to be so good at this.
>60 hours into my game, heading up death mountain
>See a lizalfos with a royal claymore
>Try and space myself out of his range while picking him off with a bow
>He throws the claymore at me before I could pop a shot
>ragdoll as he picks his weapon back up
I fucking chortled, I never seen that behavior before
Yes much. I gave witcher 3 a chance for a week. Played everyday. Progressed. But it bored the shit out of me. It's a beautiful game visually. Especially riding horseback and the sun is on the horizon. But the gameplay killed it for me. The story bored me. It simply didn't do anything for me. But i respect the detail and work placed into this game.
Breath of the wild has made me feel like a child again. what is it exactly that draws me to it? Can't exactly pinpoint it. The game just is tight and I can lose myself playing for hours. I haven't played a Nintendo game (non emulated) since the NES. Zelda was never my favorite, nor Zelda 2. I actually loved final fantasy 1, kid Icarus, destiny of an emperor, romance of the 3 kingdoms.
>meet peasant
>tells me to go to an area
>follow minimap trail
>get to area
>follow witcher vision trail
>pick up item/kill a couple enemies
>return to peasant
In hindsight a ton of Witcher 3 quests were just lame. Haven't touched Zelda since I'm waiting until the Switch has more than one game, but from what I've seen the gameplay is much more engaging and you're given a ton of freedom.
yes
>launch Bitcher 3
>start game
>cutscene
>cutscene
>cutscene
>attempt to fight someone with shit combat
>fail
>cutscene
>cutscene
>cutscene
>oh look they're naked again
Heads up though, not every side quest in Zelda is incredibly interesting.
To clarify, the game has two sizable categories for side quests. The blue category tends to be of high quality, while the other category tends to have a lot of errands and busy work, with some notable exceptions.
At least all the side quests require that you do all the navigation and thinking yourself, which is great.
This, Zelda makes Witcher 3 feel incredibly limited and lacking in ambition.
I want to jump off from that mountain and paraglide into that forest.
Witcher 3:
>talk to NPC
>branching dialogue path lets me fight npc or talk my way out
>cutscene ensues
>combat is shit
Breath of the Wild:
>see a guardian skywatcher flying around
>cut down a nearby tree
>roll the log over a cliff and drop it on the skywatcher to knock off one of its rotors
>attach a balloon to a bomb to float into its other rotors
>when it falls to the ground, push it around with my horse
>carry it a full mile away on the map, using cryonis to launch it over some puddles
>plant it in front of a stone talus and make them fight each other
usa has made better games than whatever irrelevant shit hole country you're from you fucking subhuman
Sup Forums needs flags so badly. the yurocancer subuhmans are so obnoxious. i guarantee most of the terrible posting is because of you
>if witcher 3 weren't based around some bad book series by an old conceited polish faggot it would be the greatest thing ever
Ironically his crappy books that were not even translated to English until the first game's release are better than 99,9% of video game scenarios. Or rather his setting, lore and characters because Sapcock didn't write anything for CDPR.
No.
Witcher is better in almost every way.
Protagonist
Story
Writing
World
Characters
Combat (both sucked, Witcher is still better)
Exactly what does BOTW do better? I have asked this for a few weeks now, still haven't gotten a legit answer.
>Lists the same cathegory with a different name several times.
kek.
protagonist falls under the character category (observe how it is written correctly), but the rest are distinct points.
What exactly are you assuming is redundant, in your indubitably sublime opinon?
they are not simply enemies. They are fucking mini bosses. Not shit humans bandits or skeltal vampires.
>Protagonist and Characters
>Story and writing
>Characters and writing
You're double dipping a lot with these categories. Even less fair considering Zelda games are never about the writing or the story.
Movement and navigation is stellar.
I disagree with you on the combat, it's not a deep combat system, but you can get real creative with it which is fun.
The worldbuilding is not the best considering the writing, but the actual geography is enticing to explore.
...
Yeah, it's ridiculous how much virgins care about sex scenes.
This one? I have many interesting BotW webms but I don't wanna flood the thread.
its easier if the guardian can't move
>is the greatest game since OoT better than slavshit?
