If you like Zelda 1/LTTP and don't mind the fact that it's a shameless ripoff being shoved in your face every few hours.

I mean that in the best of ways because honestly I enjoyed the game a lot, but the constant nudges of "Hey, did you like this reference to Zelda we made?" got a little old by the end.

There's also Dragon Quest references up the wazoo as well.

It's definitely worth it for 10 bucks

it crashed for me in a dungeon so be sure to save every now and then.
Also it's very archaic in the sense of NPC giving cryptic hints, little info where to go, as well as missable sidequests.
Minigames (especially the tower defense) are pretty fun though

I want to play that other zelda-ish game now that was japan and europe only.

It's not rare at all here. You can get good copies for $20 all day long. But hey, $10 is still half off.
