Futaba didn't have a persona when you went inside her palace. As a matter of fact, when she awakened, the whole thing collaspsed. Goro has had his Persona(s?) since before you first meet him.

Haru is too nice for her own good. If I were in her shoes I'd have wanted to kill him myself.

That would make for a great character dynamic in the party if they explored it though. Ken being a little bitch and wanting to kill another party member out of a grudge was one of the coolest things about P3. Haru's obviously not like that but I could see their interaction being really interesting.

Not in the fact that I liked him, but it's more something I liked about P3 in general. In Persona 4 and to a fortunately lesser degree 5 the cast doesn't really interact with eachother or develop in any meaningful way outside of revolving around the protagonist. The fact that there was a dynamic of pure hatred in the group at all really got me. Believe me, I'm still mad the little shit got asskicker killed

We don't know exactly what happens when someone actually gets killed in a palace. We could only assume that it is like P4 where their body appears in the real world.
That said, nobody finds Akechi's body. Meaning either your existence as a whole gets destroyed if you die in the metaverse, or, he didn't die.
I mean, don't forget he is probably the strongest person you encounter aside from Yaldabaoth, considering he could easily wipe anybody in your team including Akira in a fight, so chances of him dying against those shadows is probably 40%
