>oh, you like video games user?
>me too! I love mario bros!!!
Oh, you like video games user?
>me too, i love battlefield 4!
i was in korea and games came up during a date and she was like
>"oh, i love games! diablo 2 and broodwar are awesome!"
fuck the west
"I love Zelda and Bioshock too! The cake is a lie! :p"
Still better than
>I play candy crush everyday :3
DID YOU FUCK HER, user!? DID YOU GET LAID?!
>girl is trying to appeal to your interests instead of shutting you down and treating you like a loser
>get irritated
This is why you're still a virgin.
>telling other people you play video games
lmao how stupid can you be
>"so user, what books and movies have you been reading and watching lately?"
(;
>uhh, aren't you a little old to be playing video games?
>still using Imao
Imao u little shit get rekt :^)
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh boooooooooy
>implying Mario is bad
It's worse when they say they play mobas because 90% of the time it means they play nothing else
>Mario joke on TV
>It's a "mushroom is psychedelic" joke
>they don't know how far into video games you are so they talk about something entry level
>you just sigh and end the conversation because they're not a "hardcore gamer" like you
She's not wrong though.
It was probably a dude, user.
Modern Mario games are harder than most console shooters and open world games, so be glad they are only playing games for children and not games for retarded children instead.
>first day at new job/class
>what are your hobbies user?
>can only think of vidya
>say hiking or swimming or some shit so everyone doesn't immediately know how autistic you are
>"No, actually, I've burnt myself out on the medium and become extremely jaded towards any new release, so I do not, in fact, like video games"
>*tips fedora and teleports away*
>liking the GOAT platforming series is bad
what did the dumb stinky obese OP mean by this?
Nigger if you've ever read more than 3 books in your entire life you could say reading, even fucking reading news articles or some shit
>live in a non-english speaking country
>"hey user what's your favorite game"
>forced to dumb down my response every single time because nobody here understands vidya titles that aren't LoL, Battlefield or Overwatch
It's an abstract kind of feel.
My doctor asked me this, he's like 60 and without thinking I answered "Uh I don't know video games.". He replied "Oh, don't say that..." I felt bad because he probably lost faith in my generation after that, but then I said I read a lot, which is true and what I should have said from the beginning. I don't blame him for getting depressed that I mostly just play video games, but really it's more stimuli then just reading books all day.
>not just enjoying the conversation for what it is and bringing up your own favorite games
Good time to make reccomendations, retards
>live in a english speaking country
>"hey user what's your favorite game"
>forced to dumb down my response every single time because nobody here understands vidya titles that aren't Skyrim
I literally just don't care about talking about my vidya hobby. It always feels like they're just probing for some way to make fun of me since I don't talk to them about anything else other than work.
>oh, you like video games user?
>me too! I love *insert Japanese weebshit game here*!!!
