Don't play a lot of video games, so when I do I like to make my money well spent. Gamecube has some of the best games to come out of its gen. Seriously, pretty much every major Nintendo franchise had their best game come out on Gamecube
What are some of your favorites? What would you recommend trying out?
All I have in my library right now is Rogue Squadron II, Melee, Warioworld, and pretty soon I'll have Animal Crossing
Jaxon Cooper
Ikaruga
Henry Ortiz
Custom Robo Pokemon Colosseum Paper Mario TTYD Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 (my personal favorite in the series, some prefer THUG) Super Monkey Ball 2 Skies of Arcadia Legends Mario Party 6
Cooper Ortiz
>Seriously, pretty much every major Nintendo franchise had their best game come out on Gamecube None of them did, and I was a Nintenkid up until GC.
Caleb Jackson
>TTYD >Skies of Arcadia Legends >Wind Waker >Mario Sunshine >Crystal Chronicles >Metroid Prime >Best version of Soul Calibur 2
Lucas Martinez
Paper Mario The Legend of Zelda Pikmin Mario Party F-Zero Fire Emblem Metroid Super Smash Bros Chibi Robo nice try falseflagger
Nathan Turner
>Not running dolphin emulator with GC controller using Wii U adapter Do you hate money?
>Doshin the Giant >Sonic Heroes >Turok - Evolution
Caleb Nelson
Gotcha Force!
Alexander Reyes
If the Dreamcast hadn't died, I wonder if the Gamecube would have had as good a library as it did because Nintendo clearly benefited the most from where the Dreamcast's games end up going.
David Flores
the same goes for the xbox, but then again barely anybody who owned an xbox bought japanese games for it.
Jonathan Barnes
>Paper Mario started and was best on N64 >The Legend of Zelda OoT & MM > all the rest >Pikmin literal fucking WHO >Mario Party best on N64 >F-Zero always was meh >Fire Emblem meh >Metroid >Super Smash Bros only one I would give you >Chibi Robo Literal fucking who #2
Owen Edwards
what is with Sup Forums and its sudden hard on for the gamecube?
Christian Hughes
Stop pretending you had a Gamecube when it was out. If you did your taste is embarrassing.
Blake Morales
Custom Robo Paper Mario the Thousand Year Door F-Zero GX Baten Kaitos (also has a prequel) Eternal Darkness Viewtiful Joe 1 & 2 Pikmin 1 & 2 Skies of Arcadia Legends Wind Waker Twilight Princess
Brandon Ward
I have to think that the Dreamcast dying was one of the top three reasons the Gamecube had the library it did. Nintendo had some great 1st party games that generation, but that was the last generation they ever had with notable third party exclusives.
Juan Cook
kids with a gamecube as their first console grew up

Is this your first day on Sup Forums?

If you like to make your money well spent, I good luck buying GC games. Almost all of the classics are $30 minimum, with some getting into the $50-$60 range.
You could get a Wii and hack it, which is easy, or just run Dolphin. Or just buy them and make people jealous if you're rich fag. Aside from the classics and obvious titles like Sunshine, Zelda, Double Dash, TTYD, I would also recommend:
Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy Gauntlet Dark Legacy Lost Kingdoms 1 & 2 Gotcha Force Cubivore Eternal Darkness
Nicholas Thomas
Alien Hominid.
Landon Gomez
Why would you need to be a rich fag to spend $30 or $60 on a gamecube game, but not to spend the same on a current gen game?
Elijah Morris
I just kinda assumed OP would be getting a bunch at once if he does want to buy them. As opposed to buying one every couple months like most people do with current gen
Plus Path of Radiance, Gotcha Force, Chibi Robo, Skies of Arcadia and several others are all more expensive than modern gen games

This year I bought some games I always wanted to play, and I also discovered other gems for the GCN:
>Tales of Symphonia. Loved it, it became one of my favourites. (20€)
>Super Mario Sunshine. Not very good. I missed the verticality and didn't like the water thing. (16€)
>Star Wars Rogue Leader Rogue Squadron II. Oh man. I love this shit. I play it almost every day. I have everything in gold except for the 99 rounds, which I have in silver. I like to take the A-wing and try battle of Endor without dying or any other mission on first view. (5€)
I still have to play Luigi's Mansion (18€), Metroid Prime Echoes (6€), Resident Evil (5€) and Pikmin (5€), but I'm waiting for a RGB cable that should arrive this wednesday.
I bought almost all of them from CeX. If you live in the UK the price is okay. My brother came from there this March for Fallas (I live in Spain) so he brought them for me.
Adam Stewart
>started and was best on N64 Stop.
Jaxson Turner
Oh I see your point there since they're all available at once
Sebastian Reyes
My library right now is this, top ones being the best. From SSBM to FFCC you should try them all. Also Eternal Darkness, Resident Evil 4 and maybe Gun.
Caleb Diaz
I like you
Ayden Gray
my favorites, in order of most fun (on dolphin, better than an actual gc imo)
-super mario strikers -smash bros
thats it. gamecube wasn't that good.
Julian Murphy
I don't need to pretend, as I still have it. PS2 was miles better 6th gen system.
Easton Mitchell
The only compliment I will ever get on Sup Forums
Easton Russell
...
Zachary Cruz
I'll give you that PS2 had way, way more great games, it's library is almost endless. Your opinions on the games you listed and not recognizing Pikmin or Chibi Robo are regrettable though.
Juan Murphy
>PS2fag in charge of taste If that shit console came out today all of Sup Forums hive-mind would call it a weeb machine. Even multiplats were often better on Xbox or GC.
