Bump with a surprisingly comfy area
...
FO4 is released, we can all admit we really like Skyrim
why are you redditards so clueless? skyrim has no redeeming features
...
Because my first game was morrowind and oblivion was a huge shit on it. Skyrim at least went in the right direction with bringing back some visual variety and creativity. Oblivion is the choice for 18 year olds who think they're patricians.
Shitty picture but only one I could find. I always loved the sector depots in a crack in time, something about the whole truck stop in space was neat to me.
>skyrim
>visual variety
Got me good, have a (You) my friend
almost any interior in majoras mask
Is that a beta screenshot of Sonic Adventure? I've never seen that location before, and I've played Sonic Adventure once every year since 2000.
...
Might just be angle, but I think it's the captain's room on the Egg Carrier.
The respective Minigame rooms from Mario Party 1, 2, and 3 all qualify
This one is hard to top.
I used to occasionally fire up the game, go to this level, point the camera at the beach, and then just let the game sit to relax.
>RE 2
>comfy
You have some great taste my cultured nigga
The hot spring water fountain underground place where you find Darmani. I simply didn't want to leave that place
>anything comfier than customizing your own secret floating pirate island community in the sky
...
island with some buildings upgraded/customized
...
I love hanging out in The Roast
I wish it had more interactivity though.
It's from the Egg Carrier. Sonic & Tails can get into certain rooms such as Eggman's bedroom (which I wish I could find a screenshot of because it's comfy in a retro way, with stuff like a mini fridge).
Can't find a pic but, while DK's Treehouse is comfy in its own right, the backyard you can get to by walking to the left is tops comfy.
...
Hanging out in some dank cave with a bunch of botters? No thanks.
underage pls go
>All the benches, chairs, and beds are made of rock
>Comfy
My nigga
Farming with the comfort of time being frozen was p comfy.
Not to mention all the murderous bullshit going on kind of kills the comfy atmosphere.

Any area in a dangerous place that's completely safe is pretty comfy, like the typewriter rooms in RE, especially 4's with the music.
objectively the best village
FUUUCK i loved that game.
The comfiest shit was to talk to strangers in that boat to Orbis.
Sadly it turned to shit once they introduced the heroes and reescaled the exp required to level up. Its all about grinding now, you dont see anyone chilling in the cities anymore.
One place where you can feel safe.
I didn't have better pic, it's not looks that makes it comfy
but not dying
I love walking through the city and mall at night too.
what a shitty court.
>implying college of winterhold isn't comfy
>constant annoying mist
>wet rock bridges near active falls killing hundreds a year
>all that fucking climbing just to get places
How?
>them gold statue girls
...
From the first Layton game

Do you know why std h/o lvl 8 has that "backyard" on, downstairs to the left, meanwhile temp doesn't?
Made me think 2bh (...legacy h/o?)
On Std I went Russian style, carperts everywher (couldn't attach them to walls sadly).
...
forgot to flash carpets
I have no screen w/o menu opened for some reason
CT has a lot of comfy places, even Zeal
...

The mansion in REmake was insanely comfy

the shop in binding of isaac
soft piano, crackling fire, no enemies. very nice
no, lumberyard is as comfy as it gets.
...
For me its hydro. Sucks that it isn't played anymore.
Nucleus and offblast are also pretty great. Even though when I think about it all of the non playload maps that had tons of space were super comfy. Ones like foundry for example.
On low population severs you'd get that slow walk to the objective that was surprisingly relaxing.
The entirety of Ape Escape 3.
But especially the 1st level, Eversummer Island and Mt Amazing.

The problem with dkc3 is that is SO comfy EVERYWHERE, that it makes the game... not boring but, tamed and not-threatening unlike dkc2, where you feel you are fighting your way to the top.
Anyways, the waterfall area is so chilling.

Any place in Bully
...
It would be great to have a little spot like that to hang out with friends.
That and the pizza parlor.

the interiors and most exteriors in shenmue
Pretty much every town in this game was comfy, but this was the first one that came to mind.
It's crazy how a ruined and abandoned city overrun with hostile aliens managed to be so soothing to tour.
>comfy thread
>no one posts the most comfy area in video games
i shiggity diggity
Best atmosphere of any game ever
Imagine if this was online with friends?
Imagine if you could draw?
The hospital in Lego Island, mostly for the music
Pretty much every JRPG has cozy towns. Like Tales of Symphonia actually made me mildly depressed as a teen because I knew I could never find anywhere as cozy as any off the inns in real life.
Yharnam, once you get used to it
game?
>yoshi circuit
fuck off not even close
...
...
vampire the masquerade
>Imagine if you could draw?
What?
Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines. Just makes sure you get the unofficial patch
