I don't know what that is, but poorfags shouldn't complain about luxuries.

>framescheister
who the fuck spends money on shit like this

it is for playing retro games on modern tv upscaled with scanlines.

That's what happens when own the best upscaler on the market, you can jew the fuck out of anybody you want and they'll happily take it up the ass since they have no idea how to build one themselves.

Thankfully you can find a cheap CRT just about anywhere and get native support for older systems.

>Upscale
LOL
>Retro games
That thing just seems to have hdmi inputs, not coaxial, component, etc inputs at all

What's the port in the middle?

Collectors are retarded

>m-muh original hardware

I think it's an adapter for s-video or component.

VGA

For anyone who doesn't know what this is

>doesn't know what a d terminal is
your opinion is irrelevant

Build a cheaper version and sell it.

>500 bucks for shit mid 2000s AVRs could do
Are people really that stupid?

D terminal. It was used in Japan, comparable to component video

>(((meister)))
there's the issue
it's jewish

>Who is Burgermeister Meisterburger
Meister is literally a German word.

he's a kike is what he is

>Not playing on a crt the way retro games are meant to be played.

The only retro consoles worth playing have cycle accuracy emulation

Shit like this is a tax on stupid people

I just laugh whenever a 20 something collects "retro games" Emulators are good enough, just make a retopie if you want to play on the couch.

This is audiophile levels of retardedness.

My copy of Shinrei would look killer on this thing.

>paying $500 to reproduce the accuracy that an emulator provides for free
lol

the only system I really try to collect for is the gamecube

>the retropie isn't anything but hot garbage

1. buy wii u for 200 bucks (300 cheaper than the kikemeister)
2. Hack it
3. Get the ability to play every single nintendo console and handheld besides 3ds
4. Setup Nintendon't to output 480i over hdmi, the optimal gamecube resolution possible only through this method or proprietary cables that run 200+ bucks and require a launch gamecube

D-Terminal allows for component.

Also RGB is a higher quality S-Video so if you have consoles that support it, it's great to make use of it.

You can also mod consoles to get RGB signals.

>being able to use your native hardware and software on modern televisions

It's pretty nice as opposed to just having to buy knockoff 3rd party controllers or mod the 1st party ones to support usb input.

You get mileage out of your carts as well if you're a collector of old games.

It's Ok. You want to be an attention whore? Pay the price, bitch.

Just use a crt filter in retroarch and spend the 500 on hookers and blow

i have one, i got it for $300 though

They're the only ones who make it, supply and demand man

It seems to help a lot

I would rather just be price gouged for an actual CRT or PVM. It'll play good instead of just looking good too.

Not an option for some people though, I suppose.

I hardly care about perfect RGB image quality. The biggest appeal of it to me is the input lag. Most built in TV upscalers have awful input lag and some don't support 240p anymore. The XRGB Mini I hear has about 20 ms of lag. If I got one today, I would likely just use s-video where i could and call it a day.
