Darkest Dungeon is a great indie game.
DLC soon.
Darkest Dungeon is a great indie game.
DLC soon.
Yep
too much grind
It's too much grind if you are a shitter.
it's okay
could be better
Lacks content
Terribly balanced
Short story
Stupid endgame idea.
I need to get back into it, I have been trying to play less edgy games though to feel better
>tfw waiting for the dlc
Also, trying to get all the trinkets is a fucking pain in the ass
>great game
no, rng grindan adventure for teens
Stupid post.
>Lacks content
Plenty of it. It's indie single player game, not some MMO. Plenty of classes, shit ton of trinkets, skills, quirks, enemies, buildings, mechanics, etc.
>Terribly balanced
What does that even mean? Get good motherfucker.
>Short story
Each boss of every dungeon has a story.
>Stupid endgame idea.
You are stupid.
You only grind a lot if you are fucking terrible, dumb kid.
If you are good you can easily finish the game pretty fast.
I think it's gay shit 2bh.
Explain how you can avoid the endless grind of farming building upgrade items, de-stressing, removing cancerous traits, and training adventurers with the bullshit lockout mechanics and "im not going in there again XD"
No one cares what you think, subhuman.
eh, you cared enough to reply :^)
>rng game
>If you are good
lol
>Explain how you can avoid the endless grind of farming building upgrade items, de-stressing, removing cancerous traits, and training adventurers with the bullshit lockout mechanics and "im not going in there again XD"
You just willingly exposed yourself and you zero knowledge about the game, good job proving my point right, shitter.
> grind of farming building upgrade items
The fuck does that even mean? You only need to upgrade blacksmith, the guild and stagecoach to succeed in the game, everything else is not really important and optional. And it doesn't take much time to upgrade it.
>de-stressing
Well try to not get stressed and remove it during the dungeon run you fucking shitter.
>removing cancerous traits
You don't need it either. Only kleptomaniac needs to be removed.
>and training adventurers with the bullshit lockout mechanics and "im not going in there again XD"
They even changed that in their Radiant mode for mentally retarded shitters like you who can't handle the challenge of using different rosters for encounters instead of MAINING the same team over and over again.
Because crybabies like you can't even handle different heroes and making proper team compositions. And then you cry about "game is too grindy why is there no variety".
People beat Stygian (NG+) blind with 20 extra weeks and you can't even handle a normal mode, casul.
It's only RNG if you are bad.
I finished NG+ with no deaths. People frequently finish torchless Stygian (NG+) runs with killing every boss and all DDs without losing 10 heroes or playing for longer than 80 weeks.
Literally git gut scrub.
>I finished NG+ with no deaths. People frequently finish torchless Stygian (NG+) runs with killing every boss and all DDs without losing 10 heroes or playing for longer than 80 weeks.
yeah because you were lucky
Only early access game i've bought, and i don't regret it.
Hope the DLC is worth the wait.
>DLC pushed back from April to late May/early June
Dazed
>indie game
no thanks
...
Dumb AAA-only millennial frogposter
this pretty much. not worth the purchase
One of the few games I've played to actually make me angry. But then again I usually dislike most roguelikes.
The ones who survived DD4
Pretty good locked quirks.
Not a shill but check out the darkest dungeon threads on /vg/. The game does have real depth to it.
>Man Slayer
Should've locked in Eagle Eye.
Tip for new players: Caregivers Convention quest makes Sanitarium free - means you can cure bad quirks for free and lock good ones for free as well.
Doing that quest as much as possible is extremely effective and costs no money.
I wonder what stage of the game we should be at for the dlc.
I'm too shit at this game. I got my shit handed to me by the bandit boss and stopped playing. I lost some really good guys and stuff. Broke my soul.
Not like I have a choice and Stygian is limited on time.
>Broke my soul
When i party wipe with a team i like i have to end my session for the night. I can't go on. Hasn't happened in a while, but i remember DD2 giving me plenty of trouble on my first playthrough
They said DLC content is sprinkled amongst the entire game, from start to finish, including its own dungeon called the Courtyard, filled with new enemies, curios, traps, bosses, and stuff. Also new class.
>I wonder what stage of the game we should be at for the dlc.
I guess it's going to be a new dungeon + some level 6 missions so any stage basically.
I remember somebody saying that if you stop treating the adventurers as heroes and start treating them as fodder for hire, you will find the game more enjoyable?
Well, my new file is just starting to get into veteran level stuff, so i think i'll jump in around there.
>plenty of it
It's a 2d game with reused artwork for the levels, repeated enemies everywhere and few songs.
>get good
How new are you?
Some classes are objectively superior to others.
>each boss has a story
You mean a one paragraph explanation of how that boss came to be? THAT is what passes as a story nowadays?
>You are stupid
Yes because blocking a specific character you grinded for hours after he entered the endgame dungeon and being forced to kill 3 out of 4 party members you take with you is a good idea and not just another way to make you grind more.
I won't even reply to you anymore because I don't want to bump this shitty marketing thread.
Try harder next time.
>It's a 2d game with reused artwork for the levels, repeated enemies everywhere and few songs.
What are you on about, each dungeon has different music, different curios, different enemies, different backgrounds and bosses.
Did you even play the game you fucking retard? Fuck off.
