It used the engine of the superior Atlus franchise.

'Military in Fantasy' is a fantastic aesthetic for an RPG to have. Just the idea of mostly down-to-earth gear and people in bizarre situations where they apply common sense and thinking to supernatural problems.

It's also nice to see them being competant with some of them even making it to the final dungeons no problem

I fucking love SJ, but this and Radiant Historia will probably be the first Atlus rereleases I don't buy. RH purely on thr dogshit animu art style. What I'm worried on SJ is

in both cases the final boss is Mem Aleph. Mem Aleph should have just been the Neutral boss.

The original Radiant Historia doesn't even have an artstyle it's just a single static image for each character. They payed some chink for an afternoon of work. The characters actually emote in the remake.
