So far I've played Nioh, Tales of Berseria, Nier, BotW, gonna get to persona first.

Nier is definitely my #1 spot. Nioh #2 barely before BotW.

Nier was just a ride that I won't soon forget, those characters will stay with me. Nioh was some crazy fun, so much variety in how to take things on, Zelda was just a great open world but it had some real flaws that held it back from being my #1.

If you feel differently, good for you but that doesn't change how I feel. Nor should it for you. Enjoy what you want This one tho? This one wins it for me so far this year, by a mile.

Here I found BotW and Nioh much better than Nier.

Nier felt too driven by shallow spectacle and badly thought out plot, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. But this is coming from someone who doesn't like story driven games, but loved the original Nier for it's weirdness and willingness to deconstruct RPG plots.

Despite it's many flaws Automata is still the best game to happen in recent memory. If it had more of a budget to properly round out the last half of the game it would be up there with MGS2.
