A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad. Take your time to do what you need to do to make it good. Hell, I wish the Raven DLC for Gravity Rush 2 had been delayed and refined now that we have it.

It's pretty likely. Chris and his team arrive just before you enter the mines, and check out the house and see all the carnage you've left behind. Since you've already cleared it all out it doesn't seem like they find anything wriggling around in there just going off the radio conversation that you hear. I'm just hoping that the DLC doesn't take place during that, or maybe that's how it ends, and that it takes place before the game so we see how Chris got to be where he is.

I hope this isn't just an excuse to spend more time on paid DLC, or otherwise make up for time they should have used on this.
Regardless, more time in the oven is never bad.

Do we even have a new release window yet? Or are they going to keep it open so they don't have to announce more delays?

I also forgot to add that this might be a good thing, because the original planned DLC was probably just gonna be the mansion and salt mines reused as a backdrop for Chris just to blow shit up in a merc like mode.
Maybe now we will get something closer to the tone of the beginning of the game, possibly even better.
