Clearly the game is going to have two sides you can choose to join with, one side being Callie, black, sided with the Octolings, and the other being Marie, white, who's allied with the Inklings. The thing is that both sides, while having legitimate grievances that the other has done to them, neither are in the right.
The game is basically gonna be you reuniting the estranged sisters back together while simultaneously bridging the race gap between the Inklings and Octolings.
Harmony, Yin and Yang, all the metaphorical bullshit and imagery and a bif fat sappy ending for all. The final scene being a big reunion concert of the Squid Sisters, Octo and Inklings dancing happily together.
