P5 is what P4 should have been. A smart mix of edgyness and scooby-doo tier story

I enjoyed the characters alot more in Persona 4, atleast so far, I'm only at the 3rd dungeon. P4 was also alot more comfy. Everything else P5 does alot better however.

In my opinion every Persona game from 1 to 5 has something nice to offer, sadly every Persona game in the series has something bad about it, be it either bad pacing, gameplay or lack of features from previous games.

I hope so because Arena was a great fighting game even if the story was retarded.

Where's this hate for 4 suddenly comming from? For the past 8 years i've seen nothing but threads about Yu, Yukiko's ass and Chie's thighs on this board alongside nothing but praise about the game in general but ever since P5 has come out everyone acts like P4 was shit.

Maybe you looked in the wrong threads?
While I wouldn't call P4 shit, it's certainly one of the weakest especially in terms of gameplay.
But I liked the small town and the mystery story, shame that ever since P3 every game in the series feels like the same shit.

Pretty sure the same thing happened to P3 during P4's release. There was no Portable/fixed version of 3 back then so you were stuck with no control over your party.
