You'd think the art style and rating would invite a hoard of children but it's the opposite. It's refreshing compared to CSGO.

I haven't played them but I imagine the console versions are likely plagues with underaged because asking mommy to go to Gamestop is easier than asking mommy for her credit card.

Yes I refuse to play meta heroes because I dislike them so I lose many more games than I win. I only play like 3 heroes max. Also my actual pointing mouse skills are awful apparently because I only ever get ~40% accuracy with my main Pharah. So I know I deserve it but I still hate playing with kids.

Just play Mercy and become the backbone of your team and climb the ranks.

"Realistic" (but not really) games tend to attract children because they want to pretend they're actually mature. An actual adult will play whatever game they like. I imagine OW is downright repulsive to certain kids exactly because of its art style. Its gameplay is also reminiscent of older shooters to a certain degree, I can't imagine a kid who grew up on CoD being particularly excited about OW, both due to its gameplay and its art style.
