Nocturne isn't my favorite SMT but I would prefer if V brought back that sense of isolation. No in-your-face companion characters, very little handholding, just you and the apocalypse.

Believe it or not, "easier to play" is not the same thing as "making the game easier". It could be quality of life improvements. If they said they were simplifying Sector E or something then you might've had a point.

Actually if you knew anything about Deep Strange Journey you'd know the 'easier to play' comment is nothing more than the following:
Optional easy mode ala SMT IV
Quality of life improvements so some shit just works better because SJ while fantastic had a lot of flaws.

Persona can't make money on anything else if they don't put it there. Even then pic related shows they want to. It's much more likely they got paid for exclusivity with the main games or Nintendo's consoles weren't strong enough to port the main games to.

The second screen stuff they do on with SMT on 3DS can easily be adapted to anything else. The main issue is likely the opposite with the Persona games; they'd have to put it in a lot of time effort to make the DS and 3DS games look good on PS4.
