XV was a bad ga-
I enjoyed it for what it was. Maybe I'll do NG+ to see how they fixed that one chapter in the patched update.
I guess Noctis got a good ending? Ghost blowjobs for him?
Probably not after I picked the picture of Iris. That was awkward as fuck.
Prepare yourself.
Sup Forums is a nest of XV haters.
By the way, i love FFXV.
XV was a bad game, but a good Final Fantasy
I don't blame you, I liked someone else more.
>XV was a good ga-
XV is a mixed bag with some really good bits and some fucking horrible bits. Also what even worse about this game. That this game is it the left over scraps of a better game that got finished.
RUGAMESH
I liked it, but that one chapter was god awful. can't believe someone thought that was a good idea

Sup Forums niggers need to stop shitting up this place.
I thought it would be way worse. Like worse than XIII. I thought it would be so bad that I didn't want to buy it, but did it out of a sense of obligation to my 13-year-old self.
It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought. It did some good things, but it is nothing special. Could be if combat for Noctis got reworked, if Luna was a more prominent character, and if they brought the lore of the story to the the forefront.
Also, we need a goddamn summon using the Kings/Queens of Lucius. It has been far too long since we've seen the Knights of the Round.
I actually agree with this.
>follow development of the game for a long time
>really like what I saw from Versus
>XV comes out; decide to give it a chance
>didn't like it; still prefer everything I saw from Versus over what I got from XV
>somehow I get lumped up with Versusfanboys by XVfags because of this
I think it's actually the other way around.
No go on, finish your sentence. It's fine.
Why did you stop in the first place?
The ending was solid as a rock, which made it an overall good experience.
Sorry but the ending was shit.
It's literally one of the best endings in video games

>I have to kill myself in what is quite possibly the most hamfisted tragic sequence ever conceived so I can kill the villain AGAIN in limbo.
>oh but I'm rotting in hell together with my girl so every thing is actually okay
Sorry it was retarded.
you can make hamlet and Macbeth sound just as stupid, it's not hard
me. Bad game. You can say it.
More recent example? Go play all the quality releases this year.
Are you actually comparing Shakespeare to FFXV? The former had nuance, the latter bludgeons you over the head with forced tragedy.
Which ones?
I miss versus. I liked stella and the invasion sequence.
Conan was right
>Are you actually comparing Shakespeare to FFXV
No, are you retarded?
Didn't they write FFXV's story to be a tragedy?
I'll wholeheartedly agree that the way they went about was forced and incredibly cliched but I was just in it for the ride.
Just a guilty pleasure and the like, so I can't give a shit.
You need to be spoonfeed? Q1 2017 has been quite literally the best time for games in recent memory and you can't identify all the games worth playing?
Brought to you by Coleman camping products
Obvious not.
it was not and I actually played the game
>Aggressive waste of time
Truer words have never been spoken
A bad game with a bad couple and a story that had potential to be good, but ended up bad.
Liked the four dudes, tho.
I really wanted to like FFXV, but any good moments the game had were weighed down by the mediocre and bad stuff around it. Choosing the picture for the end scene right before the Ardyn fight is where I had the realization of "I would like this moment if the rest of the game was better", and it really broke the rest of the experience for me. I couldn't even bring myself to care about the ending because I had no real reason to care about Noctis's and Luna's relationship because of how little screentime they share. It also didn't help that the story in general was a total mess and most characters other than the main 4 and Ardyn had maybe 30 minutes of screentime max.
Also combat was garbage. I don't know how Square fucked up this hard and made a game that plays worse than Kingdom Hearts, a game that came out 15+ years ago. It was like Xenoblade combat, but without any of the interesting mechanics or possible depth that could come from it. Boss fights were either curb stomps or tedious slogs with huge health pools and no middle ground between the two.
Also a lot of things in the game just seem like they're there to appease as many people as possible while not having much depth to actually make them interesting.
I hope the next game in the series isn't saddled with as much shit as XV.
