I guarantee piracy hurt the sales of the game big time when a Zelda only sells 300K on its native console. Switch version only sold 600K according to last month's numbers. It's statistically impossible that the game broke 1 real players yet. It sold 102% against Switch stock. 10,000 copies were Nintendo employees buying the Master Edition, and another 300K were them buying the Limited Edition (Nintendo has 300K employees, and so produced at least 400K for certain). What I'm saying is only half of those were fans who owned a Switch and the game. 300K on Wii U and Switch is fair assumption. We don't have numbers for April, but it's unrealistic that the game sold another 400K this month.
Face it Nintenbros. We lost this one. Even if BotW wins in the end, it was only through duplicity on Nintendo's part. It's a Pyrrhic War to continue. We either win the battle and lose our dignity by shilling for those scumbags, or we swallow our pride and shake our Sonyfriend's hands and say the better men/women won. Those are our options.
