regular edition. It sometimes goes on sale. The starter edition will make it take forever to unlock the release operators and makes it less fun. Set up an alert on Cheapshark and wait.

It's like EA, but on another level (buys big game devs as opposed to small ones, owned ActiBlizzard until 2013). At least it doesn't push niggers and womyn, but it hasn't been in vidya since 2013 so it might, but Ubi's already got that covered.

Honestly, the DLC operators are in a very good spot right now balance wise (except for blackbeard of course :P)
Hibana is basically top-tier next to Ash. Only two of the year 2 operators have been released thus far.
If you got the dosh, get the regular edition than buy the year 1 operator bundle in-game. It'll save you a bit of grinding and by the time all the year 2 operators are out, you'll have enough renown to buy them.
