Look to the right

uh yes?
he's literally on the cover, you meme.

Not in a million years.

He's right there and, even though you cropped it out, there's a sticker on the cover that literally says "featuring Dante form the Devil May Cry series"

Is this the game with Knuckles in it?

oh yeah? prove it liar

>SMTV finally comes out for the Switch
>Sticker on the cover
>Featuring _______ from the _______ series

Who is it Sup Forums?

fuck you too.
this is such a shit bait thread, I swear.

It literally says Nebenrolle from "Dante aus Devil May Cry" is in it

That's not who the OP is talking about

That says "in der nebenrolle: Dante aus scrim may cry"

Darkstalkers series
Anything would fit instantly

I fapped way to much to the Succubus and Angels.

Since Atlus is now owned by Sega, they'd probably put Hatsune Miku in it.

>Featuring Berserk from the Band of the Hawk™ series

Heihachi Mishima

Don't make me chuckle

>SMT V has Berserk in it
>your "friend" pulls a Griffith and tries to sacrifice you, resulting in an Eclipse
>you just kill all the demons and him before moving on

So this was the release that came out in England on a Tuesday. But since it was so popular it got ported to Japan again and then the US got it. Sadly, Dante wasn't popular at the time so no, he's not in it. Plus Atlus owns SMT. Not Capcom.

That's bone of my sword man from Fate

I'm not sure

Doomguy

yeah, so?

>"hurr I'm too stupid and autistic to understand german."

>That's not who the OP is talking about

really. so what else would he be talking about, you braindamaged fuckhead?

Yeah sorry buddy I'm going to need a little more proof on Dante's inclusion in this game.

Nice edit fag

no, you don't.

"include" the game into your asshole, then you'll know.

Why did they call it Lucifer's Call? Wasn't Nocturne edgy enough?

Ridley. It could actually fucking work!

Probably copyright evasion.
The save files on a "Lucifer's Call" game are still signed Nocturne

>'Shin Megoomi Tensay'? Nocturne? That'll never sell. What's this game about anyway?
>Well you get turned into a demon and recruited by Lucifer to wage a war against-
>So we'll call it "Lucifer's Call," that way mainstream audiences will know what they're getting into and we can push that element for marketing
>Uh, but, that's kind of a spoiler, I mean you don't really find that out for sure until nearly the end of-
>Oh shit, we got a cross-promotion with Capcom? Slap Dante on the box and put a big sticker on it so people know he's in there, folks will eat that shit up

Copyright, there's some adventure game called Nocturne that is copyrighted in some Yuropoor country/countries, so they couldn't use that name.

Well it worked there hasn't been an untranslated new smt release since nocturne

Bayonetta from the Bayonetta series

Honestly she would be the easiest to do. Previous games on a Nintendo console, owned by Sega, thematically matches up nicely with SMT, successor to Dante, etc.

Bayanetta or Noctis

>tsubasa from the #FE series

I've always wonder if that was true or not. Besides, the game is called SMT Nocturne, not just Nocturne.

You make a pretty good point.

It's true. The copyright is even on the title screen of the NTSC version of the game. Ghostlight couldn't afford or didn't want to pay for the license to use the title so they changed it.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nocturne_(video_game)

It's probably an abundance of caution, but the game is colloquially known exclusively as Nocturne without being called SMT first which may affect things, and the holders of the Yuropoor Nocturne game might have still been able to say "this is too close to ours, we're claiming"

The name "Nocturne" is literally licensed to Atlus USA. In the burger version of the game you can see the licensing info on the title screen.

heh, weird then. Lazy ghostlight is probably it.

It could also be that after the success of SMT Nocturne in NA regions, Terminal Reality decided to up the price for the use of the license for the EU release, and Ghostlight told them to fuck off. Or it could just be lazy Ghostlight.

>Lucina from the Fire Emblem Series!
Worst part is how likely this is

user, when i was 12 years old, those were the exact reasons I bought the game.
>aww yeah, lucifer's call
>become a demon?
>dante!?
>sign me the fuck up

And then I went on to play one of my favourite games ever, spend a month stuck on matador, a year stuck on Thor because I was too low a level to beat him, eventually make a lightning immune demon and kill him and then blitzed the rest of the game unlocking everything.

So good.

Similar to how they slapped SMT onto Persona to sell it.

But persona IS RELATED TO SMT

Mario

basic 3/4 had it.

FES or P3P/Golden remove the silly SMT tag, finally.

He's on the cover you stupid dick.

But i wanted Raidou i don't like dmc

Untermensches pls go

Naruto from Boruto series.

>this happens
>it's Atlus and IS's replacement for what people wanted #FE to be

Sure pushed me to buy it. Being a big RPG whore helped.
tfw it's also one of the last great classic-style JRPGs

Bitch and greentext all you want, it's good marketing. T. someone who thought Lucifer's Call looked like the raddest shit as a teenager and picked it up specifically because of Dante and that dumb stamp on the cover.
Anyone else who actually bought the PAL version of the game back circa release and didn't have a similar response is probably a fucking liar. Or a serious oldfag, I suppose.

It's a game called fucking Lucifer's Call. No shit it worked.

Half the kids in my class were hyped because a game called 'Devil May Cry' was coming out. The Bonestorm effect will never die.

...

No, it has Raido from SMT tho
He has a fucking PIERCE

Featuring Gordon Freeman from the Half-Life series!
