The ones who did Advanced Warfare. I always thought that game did the jetpack gimmick the best of the new CODs, and the story was alright (the Kevin Spacey one) so I'm actually kind of optimistic

WaW was alright, i think people are hyped partly because of nostalgia to their childhood and to when the series was actually worth playing and even playing for months on end, not just the 2 hours the campaign takes

Same here. Advanced Warfare had the best multiplayer in the franchise. Uplink was my favorite mode too, but I don't see how that'll work in a WW2 setting.

Stalingrad is featured in 3 CoDs, not counting countless strategy games and simulations

D-day is THE primary operation for American campaign in the popular culture and was featured in MoH series, several CoDs, Borthers in Arms as well as countless strategy games and simulations

Although North/East African Campaign is also commonly featured in video games. I attribute in to Brits specifically, because it's only large land based campaign where Britcucks have played a dominant role in the fight. Along with CoD2 it was featured in tons of Wargames, Axis and Allies, Battlefield, Codename Panzers etc

I wonder what the player count on Infinite Warfare will be on steam after this game launches..
