Lack of a focus point (such as a crosshair) can lead to some pretty serious eye strain actually.

My eyes are already fucked to hell and back anyway.

honestly if there was a way to disable zoom with commando rifles, i'd stop using crosshair.

Pretty much. Mute it and play your own music or do what I do, play Killing Floor's music over it.

This desu. KF2 is so visually busy that I get eye strain after 30 minutes. Crosshair solves it completely. Played hundreds of hours of KF1 without it but that game had a much cleaner aesthetic.

I've only played KF2 a few times during free weekends, but I found it much easier on the eyes The lack of film grain or noise filter along with more vibrant colors helped a ton.

Does the Commando's damage bonus apply to the bullets and the grenades from the M4 203? Also, does the Demo's damage bonus apply to both? Or does Commando only improve the bullets and Demo only improves the nades? The crossperk patch made shit real confusing. What about dual pistols on Sharpie? Sharpie passive bonuses apply to all weapons, not just perk ones, so is there any reason not to take dual Magnums?

Commando only improves bullets and Demo only improves the nades. Single handguns get perk benefits from Sharpshooter, but dual versions of them are considered an entirely different class of weapons so the Sharpshooter doesn't get any benefit from them.

Thanks user. So what's the ideal endgame setup for Sharpie? I want to practice with the Rail Gun but the LAR is too slow to work as a secondary. Is a single Magnum with quick reloads instead of Rackem Up acceptable?

Not all sharpshooter perks apply to all weapons actually. keep a sharp eye (no pun intended) out on each perk as some will say sharpshooter wepaons.


Varies from person to person but the LAR can be reworked to fire and reload very fast. If you use faster reload and faster rate of fire you can easily take down scrakes and FPs quickly, provided things go smoothly.

Personally I like shooting and reloading faster with the LAR and railgun, but your mileage may vary.

It's the RO2 style, where your gun isn't locked to the center of the screen and you can move you gun around without moving the camera. It sounds weird but it works great once you get used to it.

This is amazing you can cut off almost half of the reload time on most weapons. Once the mag goes in and the ammo is reset you can start shooting instantly.
