Is granblue fantasy out in the west? I like the fuckable midgets
i don't spend money but i play them
For awhile. Yeah.
Not officially, but the Jap version has a full English language option.
Can you really blame them? Weebs are so easily stripped of their autismbux that it's stupid to put any effort into your games.
Just slap some anime girls on a shallow, cynical, skinnerbox phone game and watch the cash flow in since they have no concept of the value of money.
The worst part is these very same people take the piss out of Clash of Clans and other western normie mobile shit, then turn around and spend more on garbage like Fate GO and SV packs
How do you play something with no gameplay?
>those games
>making money
>fate/grand order 2nd worldwide
the power of anime titties. why do devs even bother with anything else
It can't be stopped.
This. Weebs are the among the dumbest people on the planet. There should be laws against exploiting them, it's worse than letting children gamble.
Who knows.
What's the game on the right?
I would move to mobile gaming if they gave decent gameplay and lolis
Pokemon Go is still a thing...?
At least GBF's getting a proper game based on it.
Katelina animated.
Imagine.
>The worst part is these very same people take the piss out of Clash of Clans and other western normie mobile shit, then turn around and spend more on garbage like Fate GO and SV packs
This is the only thing that annoys me. I baffles the mind how they have no self-awareness whatsoever.
Kantai Collection, but its actually a browser game.
No but it already has english.
cancolle western release when?
So why do people play mobile games like this anyway? For me I only play games that are like, actual games. And even then I don't play much, just while waiting for the train or something. I don't play anything that would use up my data because I'm a stingy fucker and if I'm at home with wifi I'll play an actual game.
Why are these phone games so popular? Especially since the gameplay is generally either
>Click this thing, wait for 2 hours
or
>Collect cards, they do stuff by themselves
Cygames stuff never feels jewey, you get tons of shit handed to you as a free player. That's probably why it's so easy to drop ridiculous amounts of money on it.
I mean, getting my ideal team with S.Zoi and Baha summon took me about $500, but I could turn around and resell the account for $300+. GBF is fun so I never feel robbed.
Conversely, I've played Shadowverse for almost a year now and haven't spent a single cent, yet I have almost a full set of every card in the game.
>FGO is second worldwide and the English version isn't even out yet
This game already prints money at a fucking unbelievable rate, and it's about to get even crazier. Holy shit.
i blew my load on FE heroes because its my first gatcha and as a child i was addicted to real gatchas, i have spent almost $200 on it
theres no regrets because the rush was worth it and i got a strong account, but its wearing off on me as a game since the gameplay is so fucking repetitive and the pvp is cancer randomness. Overwatch and FE heroes basically desensitized me to loot boxes and gambling and now im a lot more conservative with what i spend money on. Or I just start a new gatcha, roll a bunch of shit, then uninstall to sate the urge to roll for shit
You've clearly only played western garbage. GBF is like oldschool Final Fantasy with a retarded amount of depth when you get into weapon grid optimization. People take the competitive nature of MVP racing so seriously it's basically an esport.
>So why do people play mobile games like this anyway?
Because they can't stop thinking with their dick and are easily susceptible to skinner boxes. If they weren't introverts they would probably be gambling addicts.
>I mean, getting my ideal team with S.Zoi and Baha summon took me about $500,
Holy fuck, you're an embarrassment.
Why do some games get more popular than others? They all seem rather samey to me. Like, Grandblue seems pretty popular and I don't know why. I do like how they seem to add muscle men and muscle monsters to everything, that's hilarious.
No, they make me just as mad.
>weebs will literally defend phone games to the point where they call it an esport
Well, I was unlucky. Both of them aren't sup ticketable and I already had an account I was attached to. Got a ton of other shit, too, I have a decent team in every element now.
Hotter Waifus and brand recognition.
>I've never played the game yet I have an opinion
Good for you, faggot.
>Monster Strike generates more revenue than fucking Puzzle and Dragons
How the fuck, MS is tenth the size and popularity of PAD.
>Kancolle
>phone game
>spend hundreds of dollars on it
Kancolle is shit but you don't know what you are talking about
well the fate brand took years of building up and it had a very flexible story template for this type of game, all the other gatchas arent as profitable because fate has stronger back story and lore with each character
imagine if there was a league of legends or overwatch gatcha though, jesus
It has megajew tactics. Those are also only current statistics, games like PAD and GBF are really old at this point.
Nah mate, I've played a bunch of shitty games where you collect cards of anime girls and do basically nothing with them. Many of which I've forgotten the names of as they all blend together. Last one i played was Valkyrie Crusade or something like that? I also tried Kancolle since that was super popular and I wanted to know what all the fuss was about. Very boring, its more or less the same thing.
Well, not that it matters. Granblue isn't even out over here and I can't be bothered jumping through hoops to get the game on my phone when I severely doubt I'll play it longer than 3 days
How many times have you made this exact thread now, I wonder?
Should I pick up Granblue? I've been masturbating to it a lot lately.
Let me reiterate
>I've never played the game yet I have an opinion
Not him, but I was under the assumption KanColle had cash shop items? Like a wedding ring or something.
It's a PC game, not a mobile game.
I play MS, I know all about the 50 orb pull and the basically 1 per 3 months enhanced rate hatchers, but you'd think people wouldn't dump this much money in this. Guess I was wrong yet again.
PAD is still doing really well though, considering there's an ample amount of people with super rare shit in their box, but I guess they're also generous enough with free stones and godfests, especially on jp.
>mmm yes kancolle is totally different because you play it in a browser you guys did you know phones can not access internet please ignore that it still has the same trappings as every other shitty gacha game
>propagation room
What did she mean by this?
>How do you this is actually dog shit until you eat it?
I've played at least 10 other VERY SIMILAR games, so I can safely assume that this game will be just as shit. Maybe less shit if I'm lucky, but less shit. Feel free to prove me wrong though. I will literally spend $100 on the game if you can actually prove the game isn't shit.
kancolle don't even have gacha
what are you talking about?
You can't play kancolle on your web browser though
Fuck I mean mobile browser.
And what, you can't have cash shops on PC? Look at games like League of Legends.
It has a mechanic that's similar to gatcha, although you have a bit more control. Instead of spending a resource in order to pull a random character, you spend multiple in different ratios to create a random one from a pool that matches the ratio you chose.
It's not the same but its similar in its fundamentals, spending something to draw a random character.
Exactly what it says on the tin.
Crystalia are an all female race of elves with a permanent frost aura around them. In the past they would kidnap and mate with other races, which would usually kill their partner. Literally death by cold snu snu. Many of them thought it was horrible so they would refrain from sex, though.
Gran is strong enough to not be affected so Lily and Erin REALLY want to fuck him.
You know "you can't judge a book by its cover" is a saying for a reason, right? You should at least have not be a retard that talks about things he has no experience with. It's like that one guy in every pet thread that talks about how pets are the devil and yet they've never owned one.
>retarded amount of depth
Let's not get carried away now.
Read these. I'll wait

gbf-english.proboards.com
There are hundreds of factors to consider when evaluating what you have.
I hear what you're saying and all, but at the same time experience and common sense should be important as well. Literally the only positive comments about the game in this thread are "Cute girls" and "Retarded amount of depth" which personally I don't believe in.
>Why don't you just play it for yourself
It's not in the app store and I can't be bothered trying to get the game work on my phone when I don't even care that much
Sad how so much is locked behind a paywall.
No, you can't buy that shit, it has to be grinded for. You roll for characters with money, the gacha weapons are trash and only fodder to be fed into other weapons. Then you spend the next year of your life grinding to get a halfway decent pool.
I'm skimming through it and... I wouldn't exactly call this depth meaningful. I mean yeah sure, there's a lot more here than I was expecting but it feels like a bunch of different things to grind for just to boost the same couple of numbers.
I don't think I'm happy with this. If you HAVE to grind for all this stuff just to get through the game then I'm not even going to bother. I have actual JRPGs and shit I could be playing instead. If I don't have to grind all this stuff then it truly is meaningless busy work.
Literally the only thing locked behind a paywall is how many times you want to roll for your waifu.
>spending money on SV
So if you have to grind for all of this, how many cash shop stamina potions do I have to buy if i don't want this to take 15 years?
>still no Shoumetsu Toshi English
don't care about game itself but soundtracks are fucking good
Only if you want to grind 10 hours a day for 8 months do be able to do anything worthwhile.
Out of all these games FGO is probably the best. The gacha rates are horrible but it has good graphics and animations. Decent enough gameplay that doesn't require maximum autism, and you can get through most content even with low rarity shitters if you play right.
Well personally I only play PAD and Granblue. PAD since I logged in daily for over a year and spent all my stones during a player's choice godfest and got good enough rolls for an endgame team.
Granblue is a whole different beast. It's sort of like a jrpg but a little simpler since you can't (at least to my knowledge) attack with each individual member, you choose to attack with your entire party. But you've got skills unique to individual characters and you can limit break them as well. Then the (worst) part is the weapon and summon grid. It takes a lot of grinding/luck to get solid weapons and summons for a single element type, and then you have to limit break those as well. On top of that you need to farm fodder with +s to get +99. There's a fair amount of events, and usually there's accessible enough content for anyone to play through the event up to a certain extent. Like even complete beginners can get lucky enough to snag a few SSR summons or weapons during guild wars. The game also seems relatively generous with gems as well. There's also a casino for poker, slots, and bingo when you've got downtime and you've exhausted your stamina and raid stamina.
Huge wall of text, but mainly what came to mind. Much more than say, Valkyrie Crusade, where you just collect cards and auto most of the time.
Can you elaborate?
Too bad rerolling is basically non-existent. I played the game for a few months and had the absolute worst luck imaginable and so I quit.

You're gated by a daily limit for self hosts, you can't bypass that. At that point you go join other raids. You get a shit ton of stuff to restore AP and EP for free through events and the Casino (which is in your favor, you can play Poker at a profit forever, but it's tedious after a while so some people bot it)
You're really only gated by your tolerance for grinding.
So how long does it take to grind for without spending money?
But those mobage bitches are cute.
I want to play GBF for the sexy guys but I don't know when a good time to reroll is.
Exactly as long as it would take by spending money. There's no way around it unless you buy an account that's already in endgame.
It's Grindblue Fantasy
I play the game religiously like a crack addict and have 600 stamina potions for quests and 1400 stamina barriers for public raids.
Got them all for free.
Woah is this real? I want sex
...
It certainly sounds interesting, but... jesus, the grind sounds kind of terrible. Is it really worth it? Like, what am I getting out of doing the grind apart from bigger numbers?
How about this, is there any plot or side stories for characters? I'm more okay with grinding if i feel like its for something meaningful, not just the ability to grind at the next location
k dude
There is a main story quest that is kind of generic final fantasy shit but after the first main quest, the new expanded story is actually quite interesting.
Then there are plenty of side quests, character quests. Some characters have special side stories that play out if you have both characters leveled up. Every few months there are special event quests with more story, some of them focusing on a particular character that they give away for free.
what are you fucking expect from a mobile gacha game?
of course its not worth it
Not an argument.
I've been playing Granblue daily for months and it's still a lot of fun.
Despite being an incredibly basic mobile free to play game, it manages to be more interesting than most of the games being released now.
The state of games, particularly in the west, is fucking pathetic.
>merlin
Jaysus fuck, Sakurai is strong.
There's an absurd amount of content. Just doing the main story takes hundreds of hours, there's CONSTANTLY new side events added, plus there's like a ridiculous amount of raids you can do, each one with very different mechanics you'll have to learn.
If your only goal was to see all the content in the game once it would take you a really fucking long time, but after early game you'll mainly be grinding magnas and doing events.
>love ship girls
>it's all gatcha trash
Just nuke my shit up
Oh hey, that sounds like something I could be interested in. Characters are generally what gets me interested in games, but they have to do more than stand around looking cute or sexy. Make me love them, game devs. I'll happily grind away at a game just to get the next scene. Hell, characters are like 80% of the reason why I like Fate Extella so much. I mean the gameplay isn't bad or anything, but musou games are pretty mindless button mashing. I wouldn't of played so much if I wasn't grinding out everyone's scenes.
>Is it really worth it?
Not really, no.
If you wanted to be competitive you'd have to spend money, but as a F2P you'll never catch up so unless you're content with playing at your own rate (with no real goals) then I'd say stay away.
Guys, what about Yoko Taro mobile game?
>I mean, getting my ideal team with S.Zoi and Baha summon took me about $500
This is who posts on Sup Forums now.
Excellent taste, reroll during the legfest/Premium Gala that happens every month. It unlocks limited characters and increases your chances of getting a SSR unit on 10 rolls.
Additionally, try for Summer or Halloween as well due to limited units being available. What's most important is when you start an account you get the option to buy any unit on offer at the time you started the account.
This offer is available for your first week and if you don't buy it, it'll come back next month. So you could decide not to drop money at first hoping you roll a certain unit and if you don't get them you can just pick up who you want later.
That doesn't come out til mid May and it's a typical turn based game anyway. The only value it'll have will be in its art or music.
Something Alice? Is that even out?
>Cygames stuff never feels jewey,
Shill or retard?
Cygames is absolutely infamous for being the western equivalent of jews. They're also the main reason why gambling laws for mobage were created in Japan to deal with skinner boxes like GBF.
SV is arguably the only non-jewish game they've developed, but that's going to change with time as it grows.
Gandalf is pretty sexy
What's the problem, user? That's barely dolphin territory, he's not even a whale.
If he was going for a Hades grid with Gisla then that's a different story.
Have you spent money on the game? Almost seems like you would've had to.
Why do games do this? "Special offer if you spend money RIGHT NOW!"
Fucking chill game, I've only been playing for 2 minutes. I'm not about to drop cash on this until I'm certain I'm going to be playing it 2 weeks later. Its such a huge turn off, it really makes me think the game is just a money pit and I start losing interest almost immediately because of this.
$500 is considered whale territory in some other games (mostly from the West).
Think about that for a second.
