You don't need a translation to enjoy this. There are english walkthroughs, that will suffice for this game.

I loved Extella more than CCC.
It isn't that CCC is bad or Extella is better, but the fanservice musou Extella gave me was more impactful than the story and routes in CCC.
I'm excited for the sequel and hope it's on Vita, but I also hope CCC gets a full fan translation, if nothing else. That way those who can't read Jap can experience it without having to refer to a guide every five seconds

If F/GO is getting localized and even Extella is getting attention, then that means they are at least paying attention to the series. I'd go back into the Vita PSN if it meant finally getting a localized version of CCC. Hell, I wouldn't mind a Switch version if it came to that.

Extella is musou, so it probably does't have that much text. Also, CCC is psp game so it requiers a port too.

I like the combat, but most people either don't care for it or don't seem to understand that enemies have a set number of attack patterns.

Literally no one plays CCC for the gameplay, people are in it for the story and 98% of people haven't read it because it's untranslated.

Because I liked Extra, I liked Extella, I really like the setting (seriously, it has the techno/jazz and PSO vibe to it), and I like some of the characters. CCC is the one piece of material in the series that we never got - Foxtail is fan-translated, First Order was fansubbed, and Grand Order is getting localized - so of course it will be mentioned as something that everyone wants to see when these threads come up.

Not really, no. The soundtrack is pretty good at some times, but I don't recall any stages standing out as particularly great the same way that the Extra themes did.

Honestly, I'd love CCC. That being said, Fate Extra didn't do too well over here. It was a huge pain to translate and many people didn't like the gameplay. Its disappointing because personally I think the gameplay is great, but that's just me. In any case, the fact that the game has gone through 3 or 4 fan translation groups should be a testament as to how hard it is to translate CCC. Don't forget how fucking wordy Nasu is. There still isn't a fan translation patch 5 or 6 years later!

Not only that, its a PSP game. The PSP is long gone, it'd have to be a digital only release on the Vita. Even if you did that, the game's age will be too apparent and its unlikely to get much attention from anyone but the most ardent FSN fans.

Its disappointing, but we're highly unlikely to ever see a full translation of CCC. The most we can hope for is a fan translation to finally finish, or that Extra anime includes a CCC arc or sequel.

Its a turn based game, except you decide what to do 6 turns in advance and both you and the enemy perform each turn at once. Certain actions counter or are weak against other actions, which gives the game a rock-paper-scissors type feel.

Not that its all luck based or anything. Information gathering and pattern recognition should give you some clues as to what the enemy will do. Even if you can't perfectly predict all 6 moves, you can at least reduce the number of times you get punched in the face. Personally I like it. Its unique and more interesting than spamming ATTACK or SKILL like in other turn based games.
