CoD has been the premier FPS franchise for 10 years now. Don't let anyone fool you into thinking otherwise.

Forget about within its own genre. No other game from any other genre has had this much dominance ever. Call of Duty is the most successful gaming franchise of all time easily.

Probably multiplayer still has health regen. I mean if they take the need for cover away by removing it it would be literally all players running into the area of the map with most heat, make 1-2 kills, die and repeat infinitely.
