I honestly don't get why they're pushing out more iterations of the N3DS when it doesn't even have any exclusive games. It has uh... a botched down port of a Wii game and Binding of Isaac which can be played on literally any other device.

I don't count SNES games either because my O3DS can run them perfectly fine. Not to mention they barely released any on the eShop.

With the 3D on at all, you get a resolution of 800×240 (400x240 per eye), without the 3D on, you get a resolution of 400x200 (with a shitty blur filter). So if you nudge the 3D on, you get better visuals and a mostly 2D image.

It removes the shit blur filter among other things. Load up a game and look at text or anything that should be crisp. The difference is night and day.

you should also consider the fact that some games turn on antialiasing when 3d is off. Also, there is no such thing as "per eye resolution", you don't just somehow get "more pixels", each eye will still see 400x240, just like they do when 3d is off

What are the games with the best 3D now that a no-3D one is coming out?

I know this will be gone by next gen and I want to try out the good stuff, since I liked 3D when my friend lent me his 3DS.

It had only mono speakers and the d-pad was pretty bad but other than that i liked the design more.

3D was a mistake and I rarely use my og 3ds because of how tiny the screens are, so yeah most likely

The 3D effect is the only saving grace of the 3DS' hardware. That display is so fucking shitty without 3D. Just find an OG 3DS XL for the same price if you somehow don't own a 3DS yet.

Disabling the 3D enables some anti-aliasing, but it makes everything much blurrier. Turning 3D on, even a little, disables anti-aliasing, but the picture is much sharper.
