Bill Nye

No one else will agree with you OP, but I will. I played OoT for the first time a couple years ago as an adult without nostalgia goggles and it was pure dog turd. Granted I'm not a fan of 3D platformers anyway, but it was just the lamest shit.

>hurr ur underage/shit at games

I am not anywhere near underage and I'm probably better at games that this entire thread.

What the fuck is a Rachel Bloom and who thought this qualified as entertainment?

Rayman 2 / Rayman 1

You're going to get shat on, but you're right.

LttP didn't age like milk, it was just always shit

>No one else will agree with you OP
>implying

OoT is getting very hard to replay due to so many retarded design choices.

ALttP isn't the greatest thing ever but it sure remains pretty damn solid.

I've really been enjoying watching Bill Nye desperate for attention after realizing a decade too late that nobody knows who he is anymore.

Pokémon gen II graphics (I guess IV and V also work here). Pokémon gen III and VI graphics.

>Zelda
>platformer

This alone makes me dismiss your entire post.

lbw is legit the best zelda game. sure, botw is good, but it's borderline not Zelda. I would concede lbw worlds being second, if someone really liked botw, but for the rest of the series, it's not even close.

>botw
>it's borderline not Zelda
It's more Zelda than any Aonuma crap could ever hope to be. The only thing that it's lacking are the dungeons crawls from the original game because of the stupid Aonuma puzzle basements forcing their way in and reducing the value of the game.

BotW is the most Aonuma game so far. When he's hands off you get Skyward Sword.

sorry kid, they were called platformers before the "action-adventure" meme. I don't keep up with the teenage lingo for shit games.

>its yet another "lets shit on beloved entries in a longstanding game series in an increasingly desperate bid to obtain (You)s" sequel brought to you by a nameless shitposter

All fields.

If (You) wanted some of the (You)s, (You) could have just asked. I'm feeling generous so I'll toss (You) a few of my spare (You)s.

>aged milk becomes delicious cheese

Yoshi's Island still remains a perfect game

SM64 plays more like a weird tech demo these days

>muh graphics

Bullshit. You're going to fucking tell me that Mario 64 is in the same genre as OoT?

Fuck off. No one called OoT a platformer. Ever.

you don't have to do anything to wine for aging to improve it, you have to specially treat milk for it to turn into cheese

I guess cheese games would be the equivalent of remasters that improve the quality of life? This food analogy is starting to get silly

OoT had some great dungeons, but I'll agree that the overworld has aged terribly. It's just a big empty field with nothing to do in it

Every single Zelda since has had better overworlds. Even TP and SS which were criticized for having empty overworlds have a lot more shit to do in them than in OoT's

haha

What a balant lie.

>people are still replying to this thread 100% knowing it is a (You)bait shitpost

>fnaf pepe
you could have picked an image that doesn't imply your age is ia single digit

LTTP can feel simplistic in certain ways at times compared to the later 2D games but there is enough that it does by itself that is interesting and that was lost in later titles that it feels fun to go back and play.

OoT on the other hand has nothing unique or otherwise wasn't done better in the later 3D games, in addition flaws in OoT were removed in the later games too, at most you could argue is that OoT does enough satisfactorily, but to me that doesn't make it a remarkable game.

Both games aged like a rock: it's about as good as it ever was, maybe a little rough now, but still does its job

ALttP was just actually good to start with

Is this Opposite Day?

...

Don't be a pussy and delete your post.

If you think OoT is a platformer you should probably give up on video games, just saying

Why? Samus turned from a protag in the best game ever to a fetish for deprived retards.

Look it up

sup bizarro

>Yoshi's Island still remains a perfect game

At least you got that one right.

Yeah? Like?

Blew your cover

Study it out

>wine
Need for Speed Underground 2
>milk
Need for Speed Undercover

>undercover was on 14 platforms
>it sold less than 2 million copies

I like OoT but some elements of it have always been garbage.

>autoplatforming was a mistake
>Hyrule Field is boring as shit
>Epona is useless, surprised that people have such fond memories of her
>animations on shit like opening chests, opening doors, etc are too long
>Ganondorf is OC donut steel shit and if Nintendo tried to make that kind of character nowadays everyone would hate him
>the adult segment is a blatant asset rehash and is a clear sign of OoT's chaotic development cycle

Dungeons are top-notch (except Jabu Jabu's Belly) and it does feel like an adventure, but "greatest game of all time" it is not.

>wine
Pokemon R/B/Y
>milk
Pokemon G/S/C

Johto a shit. The best parts of G/S/C are the callbacks to Gen 1.

The entire kid portion turns me off from replaying it.
I owned OOT as a kid, for reference.

riders on the storm...

That's not a good response.

I'm not the guy you responded to, I was just throwing it out there. I'm too hungover to go in detail but the dungeons aren't fun and the constant long dialogue sucks

You can generally say that SNES aged like wine while N64 aged like milk.

MegaMan X4 / MegaMan Legends 1

>Mario 64
I played it recently, to get the rest if the stars, and let me tell you I did not want to stop playing once I beat it, I was having so much fun. So yeah, pretty good tech demo

>replay MML1 recently
>want to tear hair out hearing that 12 second bird-chirp looped over and over and over...

>OoT
>3D Platformer
Here's your (You).

>3D platformers
You two are either the biggest retards ever or this is one elaborate fucking bait

>X4
>wine

Cheap cola at best.

I'm playing OOT on the 3ds and I'm having a blast, never played the original though. Why people say its shit now ?

OOT hasn't aged like milk at all. Yeah Hyrule Field is empty, but there are still a lot of good things like the dungeons, and a lot of the enemies and bosses. I didn't even fully play through the game until a few years ago and it's pretty good. It just doesn't cater to people who need their ADHD stimulated by letting them run around aimlessly to do unimportant shit. Hence why Egoraptor hates it.

Do you ever think he realises what he's become?
