As someone with a 1080 Ti SLI PC, there's fuck all to play on it. There's no difference between a cheap netbook and a top of the line PC unless you like gargling on EA/Ubisoft cock. Indies are the best PC has to offer.

But, that's on 2 1080 Tis, which is at least $1360 of GPU power, so for the entire build you'd be looking at likely $2800+ assuming the rest of the build is similarly enthusiast.
To put that into perspective, my current PC cost ~$1200 including peripherals and monitor, and I can already play MGSV at 4k60.
Not gonna lie though, that's pretty fucking impressive.

Last time I checked "consolecucks" were playing zelda and persona 5. Neither of those runs at 4k / 30.

Not much at panel sizes smaller than 60" or if you sit less than a meter away, you might see a few less pixels. Far better off with higher refresh rate, and stable fps at high detail settings.
A 1080p screen with 120hz, HDR and IPS would fly off the shelves but they know people won't buy the latest GPUs if they make that panel.

Literally nothing. As in, completely pointless, tv shows cameras do not record at this res, reds from film don't come in this res, its usually lower. You'll notice they try to call it '4k' when its 3840 × 2160, the DCI 4k standard is the film one at 4096 × 2160. There is no native for 8k because its a giant fucking meme

For a significant cost, not even a single 1080ti can hit 60fps at UHD in all titles right now. For 8k, SLI like the clip, in AFR mode which introduces horrible frame timing making it feel terrible even at high fps might be able to.
